Agree teens are not going to suddenly start watching a show that is in its 5th season especially around called Nashville and revolves around country music. Don't know why they are going this route at all. They as you said have alienated every fanbase this show has. Everyday the casting call info is for Zach's Hwy 65 staff or friends, Clay related, runaway teens and now their friends, etc. Hardly see anything in the casting info that suggests one of the main cast is even taping anymore.

It sickens me how they have reduced Hayden's role to hardly nothing since she was one of the co-leads for 4 seasons. Now with Connie gone she should be the main lead but nope. Like said she has been in L.A. for the entire taping of 517 so chances she will be in that one is slim. Going by how much Zach tapes, seems he is now the lead of this show.

Don't get me started on those diehards who are now claiming they are the only ones that saved the show, and no one better dare say a negative word about this show. Everyone is to watch happily regardless if the main cast is reduced to background while newbies take over all the main roles because at least we still have a show to watch. If you don't follow their philosophy then you are not a true Nashie but a Trashie instead. Well I for one am not going to watch my favorites being forced out to make room for the likes of Clay, Zach, these 2 new women, etc as I don't give a crap about them. I want to see the characters that I have watched since day 1 of this show not random newbies. So much for Marshall saying at beginning of season he had to get rid of Luke & Layla as the canvas was too crowded when he has added more randoms than ever before. The last thing this show needed was more characters especially the 2 women that have yet to be seen on air.

This is so frustrating. All of the big stuff for Avery and Juliette individually or together happens offscreen. This is the first time Avery has fangirls. It took till episode 518 for it to happen onscreen I guess it probably plays a role into why Juliette is pushing herself so much because he is now a hit and she wants to feel worthy or something. So much for her having a new storyline in s5B. But I guess this is where the line from 508 comes into play about him playing angry teen music, now he has fangirls. I wonder if this will turn into a tentation story. Everything else is OOC already so. And it's not like we haven't heard Juliette say all season when they are actually onscreen that he will leave her. Oh wait...
I miss real J/A so much. I miss when Juliette was Avery's fangirl. I miss when they actually had character growth instead of going backwards. I guess I should just be happy they are going to be onscreen for that episode.

I admit that I don't pay a lot of attention to spoilers, so it's possible I've missed a lot. I was just glad to see that Avery is still pursuing music. I was afraid he'd give it up to be the nanny or Juliette's band leader or something and ignore his own dreams. But I don't see how this particular spoiler says why Juliette is pushing herself. She's always pushed herself, and she could be doing so in 5B just to sell records or fill stadiums.

Also, we don't know what kind of music he's playing here. The fans are around his age, not teens. Maybe he changed his music, and that's why he now has fans. I'm not worried about a temptation story from this. I could be wrong, but I think that's kind of a leap.

Also, why are you saying that everything good happens off screen? Doesn't this spoiler indicate that something is happening on screen?

It sounds like I'm defending TPTB, but I'm not! I like this spoiler for Avery, but I am taking every good morsel with a huge grain of salt!!! I am fully aware of how TPTB could sideline J&A while giving them small storylines.

Another side for 518 and I don't know wtf is up with this show. They're changing names again. "Billy" and "Vita" are leaving a store when some teen with his friends in the parking lot asks them to buy beer for them. Billy says no, they're in the middle of something and they try to leave. The teen ends up pulling out a gun, throws Vita to the ground, puts the gun in Billy's face and takes both their wallets

It took until 518 for them to finally give Avery shows and he apparently is now a big thing. Like he has overnight fangirls. Him getting fangirls would mean he has been performing for awhile but since this is the first time since the 513 music festival (where everyone else also performs) that means all of his career growth happened offscreen. And them specifically asking for fangirls means girls are going to drool over him so I don't see how that is a big leap to think that this would make Juliette insecure when her own career isn't going so well and she has always rooted her self esteem into her career and for her to fear he would be tempted seems in character.


Guessing Billy and Vita are Clay and Maddie. Is there anyone that could really fit here?

Oh, that makes sense, darn it. But could he be playing in a studio or with other cast members and not at the Bluebird or something? Or is it possible they called for extras for venue like that and didn't mention Avery, but it was for Avery? I just hate the idea of all that happening off screen. I don't mind Juliette becoming jealous, that's one of her issues, but I'd hate the idea of it coming between them. I hope that doesn't happen.

Maybe. But I kinda felt like Billy was a bit older than that when the teen's trying to get him to buy beer and how he did plenty of stupid things when he was that age. Considered SG but Billy and Vita seem to be together and not sure what's up with SG at this point. Maybe it's one of the new girls and they're being secretive about their stories?

I hope he gets to do studio stuff to help build the story at least and maybe one of the recent venue stuff could be him (but the descriptions didn't really fit him) although Hayden hasn't been filming so it would be strange to have Juliette less/light episode while Avery has performances. I think most of the recent performance stuff has been the exes though. I know in the previous episode they filmed there was Barista Parlor stuff that could have been Avery stuff but it didn't seem to be for a performance as they didn't ask for audiences and stuff. I don't know hopefully they build it up but judging by the extras info, this is the first time they are doing that for Avery. They haven't asked for Avery fangirls before, this is a first. But don't get me wrong I'm very glad he and Hayden are finally getting screentime but 518 is so far away. It seem like 513 has a lot of Juliette and after that it takes all the way to 518 for them as individuals as least to have storylines. Everything else has been runaways, Clay and college radio/Ruby/Claddie, Nadine and Friends and Zach and friends. So at least 518 looks like it could more like the Nashville that we know but it seem like the same storyline they started in s5A not a new one like Marshall had mentioned for Juliette. That said I'm all for them having career conflicts as long as it's in character and makes them stronger not take away all the growth.

Maybe but there aren't really a lot of hints indicating who they are. Billy tells the kid h should go home and play video games, he has plenty of time to drink when he's older. So maybe older than Clay. And if it were Scarlett I think they'd say something about her being pregnant when she gets pushed to the ground. Don't know that I see JA at the store, buying milk somewhere kids hang out trying to get beer. So mostly just eliminating people and getting left with the new girls. But

Billy seems to to have just said something major to Vita when the teen approaches them because it starts with Vita not knowing how to respond to whatever he just said
