There’s been a severe lack of Melinda May scoop for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — Monique Let me fix that for you: Melinda May will find herself with new duties as S.H.I.E.L.D. is being rebuilt, but her past may come back to haunt her this year. “She’s gone through something crazy in Bahrain that we’ve hinted at and we will explore in this season,” executive producer Jed Whedon teases. Sounds like The Cavalry will ride again!

Stray observations: Mockingbird finally lands next week, and I continue to believe that she is Lance Hunter’s ex-wife, who he spends considerably time talking about in tonight’s episode. Judging by the preview, she’ll be rocking her signature batons. I’m very excited.(x)

Excited for Adrianne Palicki to come on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Mockingbird. Do you have any scoop on her character? — Mark I can tell you that the show will explore the power of sexuality when Mockingbird is introduced.”That is a quality and something that is very inherent in a lot of spy dealings,” executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen tells me. “It’s not really dealt with firsthand, and that might be something that we dive into with Mockingbird.”

We absolutely know that Bobbi Morse is a very important character and has a huge possible future in terms of where she goes,” Loeb says. “She was first and foremost a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and a scientist, and those aspects of her character are things that we get to play with. What I think people will be delighted by is that Adrianne Palicki has just sort of walked on, owned it, and in the space of a couple of episodes, feels so much like part of our cast that you don’t even remember when there wasn’t Bobbi Morse on the show. So, that’s, for us, the big fun, and the exciting part about it. There’s also a history that we get to play with, that is not part of the comics, but it is part of what we’re doing, and that becomes very apparent in her first episode, and we think that the audience will be kind of delighted by that.” Bobbi Morse’s original goals as Mockingbird in the comics were to expose corruption within S.H.I.E.L.D.. Might she have a similar mission in the show? Loeb, who also won’t tell us the title of her first episode, won’t tell us. “The nice part about there not being levels anymore, is that I can just say that that’s classified,” Loeb says. - See more at

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE Star Joins AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. In Key 'Inhuman' Role

^I am beyond excited about this! I love love love Luke Mitchell. He was amazing on the Tomorrow People. I have been waiting to hear that he is joining another show. I would pretty much watch him in anything but this is super exciting because it's a show I love already. I don't know how long he will be on the show but I will enjoy every minute of his time on AoS. I can't wait!

I totally freaked out about the news! Love Luke Mitchell! Love what I've read about his character. He was one of the best things about The Tomorrow People.
