yeah so sad, she had four great hits, PT, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, and Herbie Fully Loaded, all of them made good money for the studios. LL had some lesser hits too, that i still like, Just My Luck, Drama Queen, and the goofy Labor Pains, so i just keep all these movies in a time bubble called Parent Trap: Annie's Career.

She had another cute flick in there too, "Just My Luck" with a then somewhat unknown Chris Pine!

I didn't love Herby actually but the others were fantastic films and she just can't seem to get that back.

This is still the best film I think Lindsay Lohan ever did

Mean Girls is pretty good for a teen comedy, but I think her work in The Parent Trap was more demanding. I honestly thought when I was younger that it was a pair of twins playing Hallie and Annie

I remember seeing the one with Haley Mills as well, she played "Miss Bliss" on Saved by the Bell.

Both are cute but this new one was definitely modernized to fit the times.

i have the Parent Trap Double Trouble Special Edition on dvd, but if they ever do a blu-ray of this wonderful movie, oh yeah they can have my money!

of course, little Lindsay was such a ray of sunshine back then! i wish they would put the two deleted scenes back in the film, and include the theatrical trailer on the blu-ray. i loved the trailer-only scene where Hallie is on her balcony with her dog, wishing on a star.

yeah i agree, very sad.

there were glimmers of hope over the years between 2007 and 2017, i liked the goofy Labor Pains, and her funny as hell scenes on that fashion tv comedy Ugly Betty, but she has gone off the rails with the phony ridiculous British accent, duck lips, celebrity bars, reality tv shows, and her inexplicable defense of harvey weinstein. ugh.

She did a good thriller in like 2015, The Canyons I think? It was good.
