On IMDB it says X-Men: The New Mutants.  Okay, I'll change it.So they're taking a horror film approach to New Mutants? It's about f  ing time. I've read a lot of comics that had a horror film style to them, even Spider-Man comics. Hollywood keeps sanitizing these movies from their comic book versions, like they think they're protecting someone. Who are they protecting? If I were in charge of making comic book movies I'd burn Hollywood to the ground. __________________

Hmmph. The New Mutants was never all about horror, no matter who drew it. This is a distortion of what the New Mutants was about. And most horror fims are revolting, so no thank you.
Edited in: Watched that trailer. Revolted. That's so not the New Mutants. The New Mutants was a sympathetic growing up story, not a horror story, even when Bill Sienkiewicz drew it. This is some cynical gimmick they're pulling to get an edge in grabbing audiences. Well, I'm not interested. Roll on Deadpool 2 and Dark Phoenix 1 and 2. That's what I'm interested in. Edited more in: Why can't they get an American to play Sam Guthrie? He's from Kentucky, for god's sake, not England. And that guy looks awful in the role. Sam/Cannonball was one of my favorite characters in the '90s when he became team leader of X-Force and I hate to see him horribly miscast. Royally pissed off. __________________

Yep, Sam is supposed to be a southern kid in the comics. So who is this guy playing him, and will he be attempting a southern accent in the movie or something?__________________

 I don't even know if they're making Magik Russian and Colossus's sister.Sorry for laying into the project so heavily in the above post of mine. I just hate to see the material distorted and misrepresented like that. Plus I hate most horror movies. __________________
