Oh, and is Sunspot in The New Mutants? I ask because that character from The Gifted, Marcos, has powers similar to Sunspot, but he doesn't exist in the comics. I've seen it before where TV shows have been denied using certain characters because the studios wanted to reserve them for the feature films.

^Sunspot is definitely in The New Mutants. In case if you don't know something, it helps to do some research.
 I agree with you about Eclipse. I'm also liking him and Polaris together on The Gifted. Love the scene where they combined their powers to create an aurora borealis. |

 I'm trying to play catch up here, so forgive me. I'm picking up where Sarah left off. I figured there was a reason that they didn't just use Bobby da Costa in The Gifted instead of creating Marcos for the show. Yeah, that aurora borealis scene was cute.  __________________

They made Sunspot a white Brazilian. He's supposed to be black Brazilian and that's an important part of his story. Whitewashing here we go again.

I think so too. Total misrepresentation of what the Nw Mutants are about.
Funny how Sunspot changed from a 5'8" black Brazilian to a 6' white Brazilian.  __________________
