Wow! You guys are doing great!!! Congrats!
I haven't tried the bars yet... that will be my afternoon snack. I had bowl of cereal number 1 and a banana for breakfast... I am ready to do this! (Although, I am not sure what will happen since my meds have the weight gain side effect). We'll see! Alison __________________

I think I'm going to organize some winter activities too. I have done that since I was in school. I had sooo much fun.

I hope people don't mind me saying how far I ran everyday and how long it took me..I hope it motivates people.
I ran 4 miles today. The first 3 miles without stopping in 23:12...and the last mile in probably 8:30 minutes Lyndsey __________________

Lyndsey- Your times motivate me to work harder at running my mile faster so keep posting the girlie I'm sure no one minds.
The Special K challenge is that if you substitute 2 meals for a bowl of their cereal and have one healthly meal as your 3rd, you'll lose 10 lbs in 2 wks. [That's it, Alsion, right?] I wouldn't recommend you to do that bc you need calories to burn off in your runs... __________________

Basically... it is 6 lbs in 2 weeks. I dont think that someone as active as you should do it either... it basically keeps your caloric intake down, thus hopefully making you lose weight.
I think I am going to attempt to do a SMALL amount of exercise... like 5-10 min on the stationary bike. But, if my ankle craps out again, then I am going to stop. Alison __________________

Really toned abs in 2 months?
Well, it depends at what point you're at now. If you have fat around your middle, you have to get rid of that thru lots and lots of cardio. Diet is also extremely important. I know I have a magazine that gives you a detailed ab workout. I'll look for it and scan it for you if you want it. Well if anyone wants it, I'll be more than happy to scan it and put it up __________________

Sure, why not
I am starting to see how much I can do with my ankle. I did 10 minutes on the stationary bike. It is a start, right? My ankle feels ok with that... I am going to SLOWLY progress upwards in time, and see what it can handle. Maybe do a week at one time, then the next add 5 minutes... I don't know yet. Alison __________________

Soon and very soon I will be at four miles. I've been volunteering at a senior center, well I started today. And this is about the funniest thing that happened, one of the seniors while playing chair volleyball "I would've broken your arm!" if I had touched the ball that was going out of bounds. I don't think that I want to touch the ball every again now. Or sit by her again. __________________
