Sorry, what's the difference between a photobook and a scrapbook?

If we are doing a bigger book...the person who finally puts it together should definitely take some pictures of the cover. Like the whole finished product and post it so we can see how it all came out in the end

A photobook is a photoalbum, where you just slip the picture in. A scrapbook allows you to be more creative where theres a blank page and you can cut the pictures into diff. designs and label them and put decorations around it

i think that making a photobook is much more simpler than making a scrapbook
cuz it'll be difficult to put all of the things from people all over the world together!
for the photobook we just need to send a postcard with something written on the back to the person who is gonna put all together =)

Both are good ideas but in the end I think its all up to the person who makes the final product. A photobook (album, whatever) is fine by me. They could even decorate the cover to get their decorating skills in there. I know places like AC Moore and stuff have little inserts (the photocovers) for really cheap. Like one post card go go in each insert. That way when she flips it, like an album, she can see both the front and the back, like a book. JMO

i thought we were doing like a combo of a photobook and scrapbook, like in a photobook you can also have scrapbook like pages so i thought we were going to make a scrapbook decorated page to go with each country and then have the photobook pages with the postcards from that country go after it. does that make sense?

also did we ever decide what we were going to write on the cover?

I like the idea of a scrapbook more but this means a lot more work...

Just a reminder, you should mail everything in an envelope so that you can write on the address part/side of the postcard, which gives you more room

Ok I have a couple of questions...I'm in the US, so where exactly do I send it to?

Also, what are we supposed to be sending? I know yall are doing postcards...but do I write on the back of it? And am I supposed to include a picture of myself?

I was thinking last night after I wrote about the scrapbook, that we could maybe use a book that is halfway between a photobook and a scrapbook. Like one of those books that is larger than a photobook, but has adhesive pages, one big plastic sheet that you slip things under to one page. I've seen them around. I think it is actually meant so ppl can store larger photos. They are not restricted to one regular size pocket per photo. Also postcards do come in all different shapes and sizes theses days. I think we need a book that can house all manner of cards. It's just an idea tho.
