Anyway, Diana's single is reportedly #2 in sales again this week! Whoop! Holding strong with NO new promotion (including a very BIG snub from Ryan's show).

I do NOT want Fantasia's version, thank you. A nice dosage of Diana before bed though, would have been nice.

ETA: I saw this on TWoP.

I read that Diana did a radio interview this morning, where she was asked how many times she'd be singing "Dreams". She said 50 something times, and by the time she was done she'd be ready to chuck her CD out the window!

I don't know what radio station this was, but BWAH! I love my DiDi. Chuck the CD at Simon Cowell's head while you're at it!

Just wanted to pass along that while I listened to the radio yesterday, Diana was on the countdown and has been climbing up the chart! I discovered there were 2 countdowns on this station, and Diana was #2 on the first countdown with IB on the 5 o'clock threesome. lmao That station has a radio dj named Tom the Porn Star and a countdown called 5 o'clock threesome. Anyway...

DCOL apparently got 10 radio adds. Anyone know what kind of number that is (good/bad)? At least they're trying.

I'll be reading the concert reviews tonight. Let's see how they treated Diana in terms of stage time.

OT: It's 12:40 AM here, and I just woke up for the day.

ETA: Di's second week sales were about 35,000. If the exact number is slightly more, as opposed to slightly less, that should bring her to the 100,000 mark!

Edited again because DCOL was the second most added song in Adult Contemporary this week after a Josh Groban track, which received 33 adds. So I suppose that's pretty good.

I'm having trouble navigating IF. It confuses me.

What's the problem? The subforums? Those can get annoying when you're on a board, because you can't use the drop-down menu to get to them and you have to go back to the main menu.

If Diana received a decent amount of post-release promotion, she would be doing VERY well, I think. You have to consider that the only appearance she's made since that first week of sales was on Ryan's show, and the single wasn't mentioned. Yet her sales only dropped less than 50% (and a little more than Fantasia's first-to-second week sales did, even though Fantasia's had consistent promotion since her release). Hopefully the addition of DCOL to 10 new AC playlists will help Diana maintain her footing.

I'm still looking for a complete setlist, but it's confirmed Diana sang "Dreams" and "Diamonds and Pearls," as well as the majority of the lead vocals on "Where Is the Love?" Yay! about WITL, because I absolutely loved her voice on that during On Air.

This cracked me up, though. From someone who is clearly not a Diana fan, on the official boards.

Diana had a lot of time on stage and she had a lot of energy and enthusiasm, but I got a little tired of when she shouted out to the audience in her high-pitched voice.

Heh. She can shout at ME.

ETA: Another tidbit from the official boards. This one makes me happy.

Diana did AMAZING and did about 3 numbers by herself, but I don't remember the songs (SORRY!!). I DO remember she was wonderful though and looked like she had a TON of fun!! She kinda was the "leader" of the group.
