There is a new Nicholas Sparks film out tomorrow, it's called The Best of Me, I'm going to see it on Sunday with the girls. Lydia is getting contact lenses so I promised I would take her to the cinema for a treat, and luckily she said that film looks good! Just wish Tom was in that one too

Wow, his books are getting adapted really fast!

How many has he had out now? Perhaps I will start reading some of his other books and watch the movie adaptations then.

Eight of them have been adapted to film, that's a good idea

I think he has written 22 books in total

Change of plan, I'm taking the girls to Alton a Towers on Sunday, I've been nagged at for so long, it's got to be a nice day, so I decided to give in! It's kind of an early birthday present for Lydia

I've never been to Alton Towers, probably 'cause I hate rides too. Can manage the slow paced ones but the big fast scary ones, hell no.

I was back at work today. Only 4 hours, so not too bad, but my usual 9 hour day tomorrow.

Just popped out for lunch and it's very cold today, it doesn't help that my office is so warm

It's a bummer when you've had time off isn't it

It didn't stop raining at all yesterday. It was so damp and cold I almost felt a fever coming on. It's a little warmer today, thankfully.

Yeah, especially when you have more than 1 week to yourself.

I won't have my next holiday till January now!

Time is flying by this month though, mid Oct already

It has been a horrible three days, so dark it's depressing

I'm going to see Miranda Hart on Friday night, my friend bought tickets for Lydia and I, for our birthdays, so hopefully that will cheer me up

It's scary how fast this year is going.

Monday was very depressing. Yesterday wasn't so bad. Today was pretty wet. Its changing around so much at the moment.

That's insane!

It wasn't so great here. Rained a lot. Got caught out in really heavy rain as I left Morrison's to get to the zoo!

It's actually been quite warm here today, not bad for October, the clocks go back next weekend!

Miranda was fantastic, we laughed so hard, we had good seats too. The traffic from Brindley Place in Birmingham was horrendous though, we didn't get home until nearly twelve o clock

So mad with Boots opticians, been back for contact lense check up today, saw a different optician, and my daughter was prescribed the wrong size, and type of lense, it really doesn't give me much faith to be honest, I'm beyond mad

I'm going to take her to mine, they can keep their free trial
