For me, something about the show was totally ... lacking, post-Oz's departure. I can't explain it. I just began to realise at that point how much I really appreciated him as a character, and as Willow's lover. Something was never the same when he was gone, imo. Luckily, there was Spike and Buffy of course, but Oz was sort of... the missing piece of the puzzle. For me, anyway.

I liked Willow and Tara merely for the fact that the show wasn't juyst boygirl couples - it made it different.
I also liked Tara better beacsue of her shy character.

Loved Oz. Liked Tara.

It was a personality thing, I'm not into the shy and quiet types like Tara.

Plus Oz was just so cool and calm. From the very beginning but with an edge due to the werewolf thing. Hated to see him leave the show.

Ashley, I loved that coolness aspect about Oz too. I loved his quick acceptance of Sunnydale being a Hellmouth. I loved his instant attraction to Willow. I loved his willingness to forgive the W/X thing because he missed Willow so much. I just loved him, end of. :)

I watched Amends first thing this morning and I gotta say that was one of the best parts of the episode. Him taking her back because he missed her.

Oz was the sweetest, most lovable, cool guy. I praised him so much for his willingness to forgive in Amends. No other guy would've been that cool about it.

That's why it wasn't such a big surprise that he took Willow back. He loves her and it hurt him too much to be apart. He's honest with himself enough to know.

I was very upset in New Moon Rising. I was surprised that Willow chose Tara when she loved Oz so much and he came back for her. It was hard to accept.

I'll never get over the fact that the writers had her choose Tara over Oz. I eventually came to accept Tara as Willow's lover, because eventually, they genuinely convinced me they were in love. But in Season 4, I always resented Tara. I'll never get over the way Willow and Oz were brought to an end.

Which is why I continuously convince myself that Willow and Oz will end up together someday.

I don't think I actually accepted Tara until season 5. I think it had to do with my feelings over another newcomer- Dawn.

Maybe...I honestly don't know what would have happened had the show continued. I would have liked for Willow and Oz to reunite but who knows what Oz had been up to after DMR.

I didn't really appreciate Tara until after she died and Kennedy came around. Shame on me, had I known what was to come I would have def. bitched less about Tara/Willow.

I agree. I sort of feel bad about bitching about Willow/Tara so much, when they were amazing compared to Willow/Kennedy. But at the same time, they still didn't compare to Willow/Oz for me. They never did.

Well I loved the beginning of Season two whenever Oz saw Willow. It was great seeing someone so interested in her, even though she was still hung up on Xander.

I loved the scene in Amends when she set up her living room for seduction and had the Barry White going! :lol:

Oh and def. the scene when he takes her back and the scene when they wake up in each other's arms in Graduation Part 2.
