OZ ¡¡¡¡¡
I never usually like using the term 'soulmates' for a couple, it's too idealistic for my taste, but I honestly think Oz is Willow's soulmate. I loved the whole speech they had in the car about how if she turned the corner in Istanbul and there he was, she wouldn't be surprised, because "you're with me, you know?"
I really truly believe Willow and Oz will end up together. |
That might be a little hard, since Willow is gay now... but who knows?:) that scene was really sweet. I also liked them comforting each other before the apocalypse in Graduation Day:sigh:
OK this question is gonna raise some eyebrows now, but, is she gay?
Or was it just about Tara and the connection they had? |
her connection with Kennedy shows clearly that it is more than one woman she loved. she tried to convince herself that Tara was the only girl for her, but she couldnt stick with that:love:
See, I never got into her romance with Kennedy. It felt very rushed and contrived. It was kind of sweet, but, well, I didn't like Kennedy anyway, and it just felt like they were forcing themselves to put Willow with somebody, somebody that wouldn't be so dramatic in a relationship with her, like Oz or Tara were.
I still always felt Oz was her true love. Tara came close, but I think the whole tragedy of her death facilitates that, because it was just after their reunion. Oz is the only person I could envision her going back to now. |
I think all three of them were true love for her. Willow seems to me like the scoobie who more than anyone got the best out of her relationships
Well... I'd say there's more of a chance Willow was capable of loving Kennedy than Buffy ever could Riley, but I still wouldn't call it true love.
 I think its so great that we can disagree on that without biting each others heads off. A simular discussion about Buffys lovelife would end in slaying
LOL That's definitely true. There's a lot more strong-minded opinions involved in the debate about Buffy's lovelife. I certainly remember though, the time years ago when Willow/Tara first started, how anti-W/T I was. I couldn't bear the thought of it, of Joss actually replacing Oz with Tara. It seemed wrong in every conceivable way.
for me, it actually surprises me how right it felt. it shows how good joss is at making even radical characterchanges completely believable. It drives me crazy when fanfic-writers make a character gay, and I think most any other writer than him couldnt have pulled that stunt with me. But when I watched W/T develope, it sort of felt...right. I can put it no other way...

I watched yesterday some old episodes of the 3rd season and Oz and Willow have been so cute there. I totally missed that later in the other seasons. :(
