Lance Reddick as Phillip Broyles
Blair Brown as Nina Sharp
Jasika Nicole as Astrid Farnsworth
Seth Gabel as Lincoln

:star: Show is currently on hiatus :star:

Conway1 05-12-2011 03:05 AM

Looks like you need to add Seth Gabel to the cast list! ;)

aussiechic 05-12-2011 10:12 AM

This is going to be a long summer. However, not as excited for next season as I have been for others.

In other news Patty, your the Joshua Jackson hater. You make everybody hate him. Well done, I see your at it again.

Yes, kind of saw it coming. I haven't really warmed to Lincoln Lee.

It will be interesting to see how it all goes when we start up again. Are they still going to do the back and forward between the universes then?
Awh how can you not warm to Lincoln? He's like a big puppy (with a highly tuned sarcastic sense of humour!).

Spoiler:

Ten My Love 05-12-2011 02:15 PM

Interesting. So, it looks like they'll continue with this storyline for a time.

I want my Peter back. I miss him already. :bawl:

Yeah, Patty said if John Noble or Anna Torv gets nominated for Emmys, then she will stop being a Joshua Jackson fan forever. Too funny.

Wow, that's weird. :alien: If she's posting negative comments about him on blogs, maybe she should do him a favor and stop being his fan right now? :look: ;)

Josh doesn't appear to be sweating the future of Peter very much. Doesn't he look happy out and about with Diane.

I, on the otherhand, AM sweating the future of Peter. "Fringe" has been my favorite show, but it will be ruined for me without Peter Bishop. "Fringe" just isn't "Fringe" without the Bishop Boys. I don't want to question, "Where is Peter Bishop," as the producers have asked. No, I want to imagine him sitting safely at the Bishop breakfast table, drinking his fifth cup of coffee and eating food that Walter prepared naked. :D

aussiechic 05-12-2011 08:05 PM

Patty, has been like that for a long time now. Drives everybody bonkers. She really does give Josh a bad name and because she hates the other actors so much, everybody starts hating Josh in the process. It's disturbing.

Catherineusa, he does look happy at the moment doesn't he. This is his time every year at the moment where he doesn't have to worry about work and can just spend time with Diane. I suppose in a month or two he will get back into Fringe mode again, that's if he's there right from the start.

That's the thing, we don't know how it will all start next season. The Bishop boys and their relationship is what made me get through season 1, which I found mostly not great. So, yes, like you are very attached to them. I wonder what's in store for them this season?

Excellent point. I'm thinking (spoiler free) that Josh knows something about Peter that we don't! ;)

HitFix Interview: Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman discuss the 'Fringe' finale and future

Ten My Love 05-15-2011 07:56 PM

I'm very satisfied with that interview! Thanks, Seersha. What more could possibly be said at Paley, I wonder, without getting spoiled.

Mandy 05-16-2011 07:54 AM

I'm excited for Paley this week! :yay:

I think they're going to re-screen the finale before the Q&A. It'll be great to see it on a big screen!

aussiechic 05-16-2011 10:27 PM

Josh is now in New Orleans for filming of his movie. I guess this means no Paleyfest.

Ten My Love 05-17-2011 05:36 AM

Maybe he can jump back for a quick Paley in between on-set calls. It'd be a shame to not have him there.

Mandy, you going?

Ten My Love 05-20-2011 09:50 AM

i know I'm double-posting, but there's been a lull in the discussion on this board.

Okay, I found this brain-buster being discussed on twop, so I decided to investigate it myself because I'd never heard of it, even thought it's been mentioned and alluded to literature and in tons of shows. (How naïve and sheltered and unobservant am I?!) Schrödinger's Cat

This is a thinking problem whereby a cat placed inside a box is existentially either alive or dead (or both!), but which is actually completely indeterminate until an observer (yes, an observer!) opens the box and observes the state of the cat, or even has remnant memories of the cat, which then in turn allows the cat to exist. I think that's the gist of it, simplistically.

So Peter is the cat... my brain hurts.

Mandy 05-20-2011 09:54 AM

Sorry, I wasn't online here to respond.

But yes, I did go to the Fringe panel! It was a lot of fun and they answered a question I asked and was told, "Now, THAT's the right question to be asking." YAY! :D

I got to chat with Anna for a bit, and there are a couple photos I saw on the Paley site that show me talking to her. Heh. Then I chatted with John Noble and snagged a photo with him, to which he said, "AWE-SOME!" We then talked a bit in the lobby later on and I showed him a couple of these cute Walter shirts that just came out. He loved them!

jjobsession 05-20-2011 09:57 AM

...and the link to the photos are where?...

Ten My Love 05-20-2011 10:02 AM

And what was the right question that you asked??!!

Will footage of Paley be available soon? Fringe has only been over for 2 weeks and I'm going into fits of depression waiting for anything remotely about S4. How long is it going to be... 15 - 18 weeks till the premiere?

OK, here you can't see my face, but she's talking with me and I'm holding my audio recorder. I was talking to her about AnnaTorv.com and she knew about the site and loves that the girl that runs it is from Australia! I wanted to get it recorded so I could share that with her. :)

I'm going through all my photos right now, so once they're ready, I'll post them. :)

ETA: CRAP! They made those photos HUGE! I'll resize them and post them here in just a few.

But here is the problem: Peter is not a subatomic particle  Schrödinger's Cat is just a thought experiment, that illustrates the wavefunction collapse at a macroscopic level. That doesn't mean it can happen with big objects, but people can visualize it better if they're used as examples.

That doesn't mean it can't happen in the show, after all, they quantum entangled a typewriter. And you cannot quantum entangle a typewriter  So I am lost here. Science doesn't apply and I don't know what rules the show is using.

That's so cool, that you went to the Fringe panel, Mandy!

Aww that's so sweet, Mandy. :)

Very jealous that you went. It looked really good.

Also I think Mandy tweeted this but thought I'd put it here as well.

Fringe producers saying nice things about Josh after the panel: They were asked about Josh's reaction to the finale

 I love how much he clearly loves the show.

Anna looks so beautiful in the photos, Mandy! And I'm jealous you got to chat with John Noble! Where can you buy the Walter t-shirts?

There's one for Walter's Sweet Shop and another for Walter is my Homeboy! (What's great is the text on the label inside the shirt is written with Walter and Belly's typewriter! :D)

Here's me with Anna & John:
