Okay.. I didn't expect that when I started reading the book.. and I have NEVER read something like this.. (I mean BDB is erotic, but not with something like this).. I'm not far yet, but when I read about the proposition Christian made I was like HOLY SH**!!.. But still I can't stop reading.. I think there is something about those two..

The only thing I've ever read like this was Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty series and it's much more raunchy so I was fairly prepared for it, though there were still sooo many scenes that made me blush.

Just finished reading the series yesterday and I love it! <3 I read the entire series in like 5 days. Nothing could get me to put these books down not work, school, family or friends.

I think the one thing that stands out to me the most with these books is the rollercoster I was on too. One minute I loved Christian, and the next I hated him. I swear I got whiplash reading this series. In my opinions the books just got better as they went along. Once you get into the second book it becomes more about their relationship growing, rather then the roles they each play like in the first book. The third book in my opinion is written the best.

If those wo are iffy about the book, just give it a try. The first few times the "fetish" and "raunchy" things happen in the book you may be a little uncofortable but just stick it out. Eventually it becomes oddly natural to read and it does not really bother you anymore.

as it says on the back cover.

i wonder if EL James is gonna continue with her idea of writing yet another book about the same characters but now from the point of view of CG. loved that she included something at the end of the 3rd book. i remember re-reading the interview (after reading the 1st book) in the first book to get an idea how CG developed interest in AS.

She wrote two other "novels" before Fifty and I think she's publishing them now. She mentioned in her interview on The View that she had two new books coming out, another erotic adult novel and a YA one.

apart from the clear fact Id steer as clear as possible from a scary person like Christian in real life, I quite liked the books. But as a book character he can be really adorable, vulnerable and lovable.

And I did read quite of lot of them on public transport

I am in the middle of the process of getting my new books on to calibre to put on my kindle, and all three just made it onto calibre, and will probably be on my kindle tomorrow. I had to clean out my kindle from all the stuff I read and wouldn't be reading again, then cleaned out calibre from all of that stuff, and duplicates and just got done putting the new stuff in and putting it in the correct format.
Excited.
