Welcome to Storybrooke, a small town in Maine that you won’t find on any map. This town is full of magic, populated by fairytale characters once cursed by the Evil Queen Regina to live in our world—deprived of their memories and happy endings. Until Emma Swan came to town and changed everything. With the help of her son, Henry, Emma embraced her true identity as the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming—the Savior destined to break the Curse. But even after returning everyone’s memories, Emma’s mission was far from over. With the Curse broken, Mr. Gold (aka Rumplestiltskin) was free to bring magic to Storybrooke. And magic ALWAYS comes with a price…
After six seasons, the residents of the enchanted forest face their greatest challenge yet as The Evil Queen, Captain Hook and Rumplestiltskin join forces with a grown up Henry Mills and his daughter Lucy on an epic quest to once again bring hope to their world and ours. Along the way, new fairy tale characters and old search for true love, find adventure and once again take sides in the struggle of good against evil, as classic tales are once more twisted and reimagined.
“Once Upon a Time” stars Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Andrew J. West as Henry, Alison Fernandez as Lucy and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

More Once Upon a Time scoop please! — Kate As of now, we’ll be in one new story book when season 7 launches, but the OUAT bosses say they have the freedom to go through multiple books. And with multiple books comes multiple authors — that’s right, Henry’s not the only one! “There has to be one author for each book and I think that is the case,” EP Edward Kitsis says. But EP Adam Horowitz is quick to add: “Different books have different mythologies, so it’s not like we’re going to tell the Author mythology the same way, or the Dark One mythology the same way. There’s going to be new things and new mythology to explore.” ~EW 7/27/2017
I have a question for Once Upon a Time: Can Adam and Eddy tease Episode 4, which is focused on Rumple and brings back Emilie de Ravin? —Liza When I delivered your question, Adam Horowitz described the episode titled “Beauty” as “hugely romantic,” while co-creator Eddy Kitsis said, “It’s our favorite Rumbelle story since ‘Skin Deep.'” ~ TVLine 8/9/2017
Do you know anything more about Regina’s alter-ego on Once Upon a Time? — Braden Bar owner Roni is very, very different from Regina, so prepare yourselves. “She’s given up a little bit on life,” Lana Parrilla tells me. “She seems a little hopeless when we first meet her, and then Henry comes to town and things start to shift a little bit.” But don’t expect his arrival to immediately spark Regina’s memories. “No, there’s nothing there, and I like that. She’s just asleep. She’s not quite in touch with all that stuff yet. A few more things need to happen before she starts getting that feeling. Although, she is inspired by a character, and it shifts her a bit, at the end of the first episode.” ~ EW 8/10/2017
Is there any info you can share for Once Upon a Time about who Henry’s wife will be? —Rebecca Well, the casting call for [NAME REDACTED] describes Lucy’s momma as a “strong-willed, independent woman with a no-nonsense sensibility and a warm heart at her core.” Life hasn’t always been kind to [NAME REDACTED], but she is “sharp and resourceful” and never gives up on herself — or those she believes in. ~ TVLine 6/29/2017
As soon as I saw the Polynesian mask on the portal door in the hat during the Once Upon a Time finale, I knew right away that Lucy’s mother will most likely be Moana. — Roger
Not so fast. “To examine those doors as clues to what season 7 would be is not necessarily what they were there for,” EP Adam Horowitz says. “It’s more of a symbolic thing that’s telling us how big our universe is and that there are many places left to be explored.” So, it’s probably unlikely, but never lose hope! Holy crap an article that talks positively about CS instead of walking around in circles with them. Somebody probably realized how much bad buzz they were creating for themselves with how they were toying with one of the biggest fanbases of in the articles quote the strongest and most beloved relationships on the show.
There's a part of me that thinks if this is our Hook we will get a scene at the end of episode 2, a FF to Hook and Emma reuniting post S7 curse. It'd be very similar to something that happens on This is Us.
Quote:
Fans of one of the show's strongest relationships — the love between Emma and Captain Hook, who married in a musical episode toward the end of season six — should be pleased with the second episode of the session, which will see Morrison return to reprise her role (the fourth episode will provide similar backstory for de Ravin's Belle).
"For 'Captain Swan' fans that are worried, don't be. But watch it, and all will be explained in episode two," says Horowitz. "They don't have to be frightened, but they do have to watch."
Adds Kitsis, "We are very cognizant of the passion."
Thanks for the article. Nothing for Charming family fans to see here, more along. We're used to it.
For whatever reason, they want to keep Rumple's identity to themselves. Which makes me believe that it wasn't casually leaked to set spotters. If people heard the name, it's probably a cover name for now.
I suppose THR didn't get the press package or they would know how to spell Roni. Of course, we have seen photos of the sign, which helps In their defense, they are probably reading a lot of press packets for new and returning shows right now.
This is what I heard from a friend.
1st Scene: Dania, Alison, Adelaide
2nd Scene: Dania and Alison
3rd Scene: Lana and Andrew (two scenes)
Last Scene: Lana
(I know Alison mentioned Colin, but no one has seen him on set)
Storybrooke was one thing. It was a town cut off from the rest of the world. But I have serious trouble believing a curse could create fake identities for illegal immigrants (sorry, but it's true) in a city in Washington, with no social security numbers, birth certificates or any proof of US citizenship?
Do they pay taxes now? Wouldn't there at least be some record of Henry's adoption, or that he went to school as Henry Swan?
I heard that Colin was in LA, take it as a rumor though. Some of the scenes were for episode 2 based on costumes. The Roni and Henry night shoot was confirmed to be for 7x5 though.
