the episode wasnt chock full of moments, but we did get some good stuff. the intro scene of course, and it was obvious when talking to JR that John Ross really DOES care about her. And then when he said he wanted to protect their deal and she hung up on him, he was so sad about it.

He's certainly getting invested.

YES. The slow-burn of it all is seriously the best part, and I hope the producers and writers give them room to let their embers breathe.

Jboeck227, thanks for the episode details! Episode 7 sounds interesting.

Watching their phone conversation a few times, it definitely seems like she was testing him a bit when she asked him why he was helping her. When he (again) said he was "protecting the deal," she paused before rejecting him - possibly disappointed by his answer? Are they getting their wires crossed? Or just both purposely deflecting not to lose power over the other? Hmm...

I wonder what episode 7 is all about. Definitely seems interesting.

I'm curious to see how John Ross is gonna react to JR's death. Maybe he'll seek comfort with PR. I would love that.
