The Frank stuff was just too much to process in the short hour - I'm not sure if I liked it or not, but the actor was fantastic with the material.
It definitely added depth to their dynamic - John Ross is definitely still protecting the deal, but not just for him - for her too. That PR has a much better poker face than he does. I really want more insight from her though. She's clearly onto John Ross and every time she asks why he gives a damn, he deflects. I want to know how all of it makes her feel. I'm definitely looking forward to that confrontation next week. __________________

I really like the actor that plays Frank and he totally sold that scene with Cliff to me. The backstory I thought was interesting too and I would have liked to see some of what they talked about it before he died. :/
They keep killing off characters I like and keeping the one's I find blah LOL. Next week should be good. I understand PR being cautious, she doesn't want to get burned again. (though it was by her own doing lol). I also thought JR was projecting a little when telling Cliff he should be there more for his daughter. I thought all the JR/PR stuff was very interesting. |

Oh, he was totally projecting the same daddy issues.

I'm so/so on my Dallas history but were they both sent to boarding schools?
I kinda get they drift that they both kinda had absentee parents, yet still crave the approval of them. But I don't know my history so well so who knows lol |

Ha, you definitely don't need to apologize for that. Here's what I love the most that their scene tonight demonstrates: business and schemes aside, with them, there are no pretenses - they can just BE. She was outright talking about Tommy because John Ross already knew everything about it (Tommy and the con).
And in turn, he can go on with his wheelings and dealings without judgement. Neither of them has to pretend and be something they're not. I know John Ross went to boarding school, not sure about PR. __________________

Just saw the episode. Really liked it. Glad the whol Tommy SL wasn't dragged out. Now we can go on with the divorce.
John Ross is really starting to show his real feelings. Even when JR asked him do you have feelings for this girl you could tell he was lying when he said no. So cute. Hopefully now that PR will have more time to worry about other things she will show her feelings as well. Love that they don't have to pretend as well. They can just be themselves around eachother. __________________

So much was going on this episode I totally forgot about that. Loved that. Their relationship is changing so fast and I'm loving it.
The butt slap proves how comfortable they are around eachother. So cute. __________________
