I loved the time where it happened right in front of Matt (the end of season 2), Tyler is found naked on Caroline's doorstep and Matt was ready to shoot wolf Tyler but Caroline instantly covers him with a towel and just holds him for a long time. I think it finally got into Matt's head that the two of them are connected in a way that he can't even contemplate.

And I loved that Tyler had already admitted to Matt in 2x14 (just before he left town) that he had fallen in love with Caroline. He didn't have to say anything because he wasn't trying to force Caroline into forgiving him, but he needed Matt to know the truth. That's real friendship; when you're honest about the things that risk destroying your friendship.

It is - plus, I think that Tyler partly told Matt that so that it seemed like what happened with him & Caroline was just on him, & Matt would be more likely to take her back. If Caroline wanted to be with Matt, Tyler wanted that for her & wouldn't get in the way of the relationship. He loved her so selflessly like that

That's a great point yes I agree, Tyler made it clear that Caroline's happiness was his priority, whatever that meant. He knew things were bad between them after the wolves vs vamps fight (when Caroline was tortured) and he just wanted some peaceful resolution. Even if that meant never actually being with her.

Yeah, he never tried to push his feelings onto her. Even in 3x01, he told her that she needed to make it clear to him if she wanted more - which is then what she did

SO HOT! They had the hottest sex scenes. They had such an animalistic passion.

I loved how in 3x01 they're so hot for each other that she flings him full vampire speed onto the bed!

It was super intense, & Michael & Candice had such good chemistry!

They sure did I remember when season 3 was due out, Michael and Candice did a bunch of interviews as a duo and you could tell how relieved they were that Forwood was finally official.

I loved Tyler and Caroline's mutually heated stares in 3x01 during the scene where they talk about being horny all the time

I always felt like both Michael & Candice really supported forwood & were perfectly comfortable doing those kinds of scenes together
