2nd gif ~ I loved the tension between them when he arrived back in town, they were acting like ex-lovers and it was great to see that her hurt over Matt turned into hurt over Tyler as soon as he attempted to leave again.

I really love how much their parents came to support their relationship

Loved how her mother worked with Tyler in 3x03 to save Caroline from her father

Her father did so much lasting damage. I hated how he caused Tyler to transform and basically lost his life due to interfering in their relationship, meaning Tyler had to carry the guilt of half-killing him even though he was forced into it

Yeah, I feel like Caroline's dad didn't really know what he was talking about... but it put Tyler on the right track. He left & spent weeks breaking every bone in his body to break the sire bond - all for Caroline

I just wish there wasn't always a price to be paid, because her father's death resulted in Tyler skipping town (AGAIN

) and giving Klaus room to make a move on Caroline.
