Thanks for the photo Isis. I'm assuming maybe she lost a bit of money or got knocked out (hope it wasn't the latter).

So many good titles.

Looks like Annie Duke came in 8th in the poker championship she was in and is now playing in the same event as Shannon.

Better than last place i say. So we''l probably see pics of Shannon with he buddy and the ex-hubby at some point in this competition.

Shannon has her poker face on. She looks beautiful as always. I just noticed that next to the chips she has a statue of a lion?
I also noticed that she doesn't have any patches. Looks like she didn't get a sponsorship this year. I am not surprised . She was to much under the radar this last year and barely went to Vegas to play.
She has many more games to play and the nerves may get her the first one being back. Still waiting on that chip count. I have a feeling this next thread will mostly be about poker. How about b/c Shannon is going to win her first bracelet or something along the poker theme.

New update mentioning Shannon from the WSOP site:

Fricke Increases Stack In Chopped Pot Omaha-8 We caught the action on the flop of Ah Kh 3d with the whole table involved bar one lonely soul. It was checked to Jimmy Fricke who led out for 150 and was called by Shannon Elizabeth and four others before a two-bet was put in and was called by Fricke and three others following a fold from Elizabeth. The turn landed the completing a low draw and again Fricke led the betting tossing out three 100-denomination chips. This time however he found one fold and three callers to see half the table take it to the river. Fricke fired again when the dropped and was called before a check-raise was put in with both Fricke and the player behind making the call. The turn reraiser tabled his for the nut high Broadway straight, while Fricke turned over his for the low scoop as the player mucked. With the pot being chopped up, Fricke eventually stacked his chips up to 15,000 and change as we end the level.
