As much as I like how independent Emmett is, I really LOVED how George shared his extravagant lifestyle with him.

I agree that Emmett should have kept the money. George wanted him to have it, but now it would all go to that horrid family that George dispised. As far as Emmett not telling anyone about George and himself, who was there to tell anyway.

It just seems like Emmett got the short end of the stick with this one. George's ex just HAD to get the courts involved and take back control- OF COURSE! But it was George and his decision to leave 10 million to Emmett, a guy he'd known for a short period of time, the funds. Must have stung.

The family had the right to dispute, but he should have kept the million. It was kind of stupid for him to start blowing the money on presents as soon as he noticed it in his bank account though.

yes it was, but it only shows, that he never ad much money, and he wanted to pay all his friends back for everything they helped him out

Yeah, he should have foughtto keep the money, George wanted him to have it and he could do great thing with it. And once again, Mel lost the chance to show what she could do. The cases always fall, on way or the other, before she does anything

I agree! Written, witness and notarized by his own attorney. What was that about anyway? A video brings comfort, but is never to be used in that way. I don't see how George would not know this. He was the owner of a major corporation!

True. This could have been an opportunity for Mel to set precedence and try this case in probate court. There was no appeal filed or petition to the court in any matter even to buy some time while she researched case law, etc. That would have been amazing. It's tv..there's room for creativity.

I realize to do the above would have been costly...and Em didn't have that kind of money..but I'm sure Mel would've given him a great deal or pro bono???
