I would like to have know why Mel prefers Lindsay over Leda. Leda is better looking, seems more interesting, and doesn't appear to have a hang up over a gay man she can never have.

hmmm probably mels interest where going down another path than ledas.... it seems leda is very restless and has no defined job and with her career going up as a lawyer you have to stay on one place and work hard. so they drifted apart. if i could remember it right lindsay met leda there for the first time, so i guess mel and linds met after leda already left town... thats my guess

I agree with Daggi.

Let me set the record straight…I don't dislike Leda. She was a necessary addition at the time…IMO for Lindsay.

Leda was everything that Leda wasn't, which was why Melanie was with her. She didn't want the freestyle, hedonistic lifestyle that she had with Leda. She was ready to settle down with someone, have a career and a family. With Leda, she couldn't do that.

It was my impression that Leda and Melanie didn't end on a negative note. I think they truly liked one another, but their relationship had run its course.

I really like her probably because she is the antithesis of boring Linz- she is in fact the female version of Brian!! I like their chemistry when he came to pick up Gus prior to the party!!! As Cowlip's expertise was obviously not women of whatever sexual persuasion Mel and Linz were not that interesting- I usually FF through their scenes!!! I get Mel wanted to settle down but really???

Headscarves seemed to be the thing to wear ~ Leda, Daph, Linz .. they all had them at various points during S1!

I changed the title... episode is "Sick, sick, sick. I also put November 29th~December 6th as the expected time frame in which we're supposed to be watching.

Perfect! We got a bit haphazard in the change of episode dates, which is no bad thing ~ but for these next few I think we should be more disciplined and try and zip through them ASAP!

Just get me to 308!!!!!!!
