Justin is almost as much at fault as Brian about the birthday. Because when Brian says birthdays shouldn't be celebrated, Justin agrees instead of telling Brian how he really feels. It's not like Brian can read his mind.

To be honest, I wish CowLip had found another hook on which to hang this storyline because it doesn't make sense! In S1 Justin says to Brian "... lucky for you I turn 18 tomorrow." And Brian then asks him what he wants for his birthday.

Also in S3

Very true about the season one remark. But compared to some of the other continuity errors in this show, the birthday line is hardly worth remembering.

Au contraire hun, I think most QaF lines are worth remembering! :lol: :love:

I know, right? Sheesh! It all starts to go down hill right around this episode... and it's painful to watch. :no:

I won't get to watch it again until I get home ~ but having seen it fairly recently, one thing stuck with me that hadn't registered before.

When Mel's chewing Brian's balls about the hustler and tells him to buy some roses .. "let him know you care about him." Brian says "I thought he already did."

That is one admission that I TOTALLY missed before!!! :hammer_head:

Hmmmmm :eyebrow: Having read that bit...I can't say that line sounds familiar. :look: I'll be on the lookout this go round. :)

Oh, it's not just me then!!! But it is a big admission on Brian's part ~ especially to Mel of all people! :eek:

Definitely! In Brian's mind, Justin knew how he felt about him. He was totally clueless.

The viewer also knew how Brian felt about him!!!!!! :)
