They better fix all the changes they made while time traveling. Or I will hunt them down.

Do you really logically think they'll leave it so that it's all ruined? That Harry is dead? That Voldemort is alive and thriving? We have a whole second part for Scorpius and Al and Harry to not only fix the messed up past but also fix their own relationship in the process.

People are getting all upset too prematurely. The story's not finished yet.

Yeah, of course that things will be fixed but I do hope some consequences will remain, lessons learned. It would suck to get another mushy ending like epilogue. I mean, Rowling did point out the the longest period that can be traveled back in time without serious chance of harm to the traveler or time itself is around five hours - Scorpius and Al went not hours or days but decades back in time - happy go lucky ending would be very weak at this point.

But also, I find it a bit off putting that the play shows Hermione would not have a happy life without Ron. If Ron is happily married to Padma, why couldn't Hermione marry someone? But even if she is alone, I thought Hermione was a great character because she was strong and independent, she doesn't need a man to make her complete, so it is stupid to assume she would become a bitter spinster without a man in her life. But ok, maybe some of the bitterness comes from the situation in the Wizarding world and Harry being dead, maybe she thinks it is her fault or something.

I will read the script with joy but the play does sound weird, especially the time travel plot. In any case. I am interested to see the spoilers of tonight's part 2 of the play

You can't have a dramatic play and not show central characters learn lessons and resolve the issues that enfold throughout the plot. So clearly Harry and Al will make up and come to understand each other better. Harry's not stupid. He doesn't want to Al to become another Draco or worse Voldemort.

I also think it's setting up the lesson that it doesn't matter which house you're in, you can choose to be a good person. But then even 'good' people can have stupid prejudices. I'm disappointed that Rose doesn't want to be friends with Al at school just because he's in Slytherin. I would have expected more from her but I guess even she has a lesson to learn. And no doubt will learn it by the end.

Yeah, that is strange about Rose. I thought they would have been friends even before Hogwarts. I mean, don't Weasleys and Potters have get togethers and also just hang out. Harry, Ron and Hermione are best friends so I naturally assumed Al and Rose are friends already.

But yeah, regardless of all that, you would have thought Rose wouldn't be this judgmental - her own mother was dealing with things because she was a Muggle-born and fought so hard to save elves, I thought Rose would be raised in way to give everyone a chance.

Plus, it is disappointing Slytherins have such a bad rep after so many years. But at least you would expect Weaslys to know better.


And also, where is Hugo? I was sure he is Lilly's age and if she is sorted in the play, I assumed Hugo would be as well. But maybe he is younger than her.

I don't know where Hugo is. He's around Lily's age but its never actually specified in canon so perhaps he's younger and therefore not old enough to go to Hogwarts and therefore not relevant to the play's plot? I don't know, its a mystery.

The confession from Draco after he and Harry fight is a real huge moment for him. And its more evidence that he's changed his ways and matured. That was nice to see.

I have a feeling that this blanket Harry gave him, instead of the invisibility cloak has more significance than Al want to believe right now. They're disappointed in each other and aren't communicating properly but that's pretty typical of alot of parental/child relationships.

Not to mention Harry's suffering from PTSD. The difficult choices he made during the war, the people/friends that died because of him, its eating him up. And then to have his own flesh and blood tell him he sucks. Ugh, sucker punch to the gut. Some people are saying its out of character of Harry to say such horrible things back to his own son but I disagree. This is what happens when you argue ineffectually. You say things you don't mean. He's done it MANY time before in canon. Its a lesson that we have to keep learning, even in adulthood.

Oh sure, Harry blew up many times in the book, he is a very impulsive person. And it looks like Al is the same, mocking off Harry's childhood like that and for what I understand, it was Al who said first he sometimes wishes Harry wasn't his dad so it is understandable why Harry shot back that he wishes Al wasn't his son. You say a lot of heated stuff when you are fuming and that it completely in Potter's nature.

But I still find rather odd that Cedric's dad would ask now for Harry's help to bring back Cedric.

I'm glad Hermione is the minister though, I can definitely see that. And that Harry is the Head of Magical Law Department, it was shown in the books how he can be great when he sets his mind at something so no wonder he became the Head.

Of the Diggory parents situation I can only assume this happens quite a bit in Harry's line of work and as in this case he has to refuse the demand. As he knows how dangerous it is. This just happens to be the ONE time Albus overhears and decides to take matters in his own hands because he thinks it's the right thing to do. He's wrong but what can you do, he's an impulsive irrational teenager.

I love to see the same Ginny we all know and love. Neville hasn't made an impression on anybody yet but there's still the second half to go. Maybe he'll show up then.

That Rose doesn't want to be friends with Al, her own cousin, after he gets sorted into Slytherin. I really hoped she was better than that.
