I'm going to have to watch that movie again when it comes out on video/DVD, so that I can pay more attention to Gordon. I'm afraid I didn't pay as close attention to the movie as I should have when I saw it in the theaters (I was a little out of it that day).

I've been reading a fan fic set during OotP (mostly based on Remus/Tonks) and it's just making me feel so badly for Sirius. Trapped in that house all day with the bad memories, the portrait of his mother yelling at him.......
 I'm going to need to reread PoA and GoF soon to have some happier Sirius memories.__________________

I know. The year spent in OotP must have been just torturous for him. Not only caged up again (and you know he never got over the Azkaban experience), but in the place with all those horrible memories of his childhood and the life he tried to escape from? Not wonder he was grumpy.
Wonder what his original reaction was when someone approached him with the idea of the Order using Grimmauld Place as its headquarters.... __________________

 You think?  I wonder if Dumbledore approached him with the idea, or if he sent Remus, figuring Sirius wouldn't be too difficult with Remus? __________________

Hmm, that's possible. I guess it might have depended on what Remus was doing at the time. I think that Sirius might have taken the suggestion a bit better coming from Remus - he might have been more willing to listen to his best friend. But on the other hand, there's the whole respect for Dumbledore thing - people (in the Order at least) pretty much have faith in Dumbledore and do what he suggests.

 No, I really don't see that either. Sirius's face might have been turning red with the effort to keep inside what he wanted to say, but I don't see him going off on Dumbledore (not even the way that Harry did at the end of OotP).__________________

True. I don't think that Sirius could stand up against Remus's arguments for very long, angry as he might initially be. With both Remus and Dumbledore trying to convince him, Sirius wouldn't stand a chance.

It's terrible. I know a lot of readers got upset with Sirius's behavior in OotP, and I didn't like how he was so grumpy and moody, but I could certainly understand it. I was more upset for him than with him. The emotional trauma that poor guy had been through in his life.......
Perhaps he didn't realize the bad memories that he would really have to endure, trapped back in that house again. I can't imagine the others did, or how could they have asked that of him? __________________
