The only pics I've seen for Santa's Slay are pictures of Goldberg. I know what he looks like and what his "evil hell deer" look but nobody I wanna see. lol A Goldberg interview (I can't believe I'm going to Goldberg fansites) says shooting in Alberta ended last Saturday. Then after a break it's off to LA to shoot more scenes. [ 03-30-2004: Message edited Lucy Pearl ] |

Well considering that the movie is about Santa going on a killing spree... I'm not surprised.

Emilie's Ballet Classmate talks of Emilie - 1995-97
FROM: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emilie-de-ravin/ COMMENT: Kreg Mcminn was apologetic about not getting the Emilie in Edmonton photos to us. He said he was cast in a movie "Stolen Innocence" and had not picked up the second development photos yet. Meanwhile there's this from one of our groups: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emilie-de-ravin/ From: "sonyanatalia" <sonyanatalia@yahoo.com.au> Date: Sat Mar 27, 2004 8:58 am Subject: Hi Hi I just joined. I got the shock of life recently when I was watching Roswell and saw Emilie. You see, we were in the same ballet class in Australia from 1995 to 1997. I had absolutely no idea Emilie was acting, and that she had so many fans! So I looked around a bit on the internet, and came here and joined right away! ... From: "sonyanatalia" <sonyanatalia@yahoo.com.au> Date: Tue Apr 6, 2004 5:40 am Subject: About Emilie Ummm, what should I say? Emilie was this tiny little thing and really cute, even though she is 6 weeks older than me. She was just about the best dancer in the class, and everybody thought she was going to be this famous dancer. I remember at the Australian Ballet Centre once she got poked in the eye by somebody and there were about 20 people all crowding around her to see how she was - that's how popular she was! Because she was so tiny she was always taken to do pas de deux (partnering) classes with the younger boys. She was one of the few girls small enough for the boys to lift! My brother danced with her a bit. I read that Emilie gave up ballet partly because of all the bitchiness behind the scenes, and I'm not surprised. She was always really normal and down to earth, while most of the other talented girls walked around like they were God's gift to ballet. -Gloriana __________________

Oh, wow, that's a great story.
You should post in on the meeting Emilie thread. Those who don't read the Santa's Slay thread would probably get a kick out of it. lol |

thanks for posting that story. It's great hearing stories about people before they are known. And it's nice to hear good things about Emilie.

Is Douglas de Ravin related to Emilie de Ravin?
FROM: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0393685/board/threads/ She has only two older sisters... http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0393685/fullcredits "Santa's Slay" Cast (in credits order) Bill Goldberg .... Santa Claus (as Goldberg) Douglas Smith .... Nicholas Emilie de Ravin .... Mac rest of cast listed alphabetically Robert Culp .... Grandpa Douglas de Ravin Saul Rubinek .... Mr. Green Dave Thomas .... Pastor Timmons Also, We've given up on Kreg's photos. Instead, he's now advertising a new site for Clare Kramer on one of our groups. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Clare-Emilie-Michelle/ He last put up a Clare site in 2002 with some of our site images and such. Though he's gotten Adobe and seems to be pretty good with the graphics now. There must be a curse on the cameras in Edmonton. In the Forum for the movie, we counted at least 3 people who went out since Feb promising photos and came back with...nothing in the end. Also new from the forum. FilmGuidance 2 days ago (Fri Apr 9 12:09:02) Ignore this User | Report Abuse -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3/22/04 The film has begun principal photography. I've added more to the cast. Producer Brett Ratner was quoted saying "Santa's Slay is one of the most innovative, freshest scripts I've read in the horror genre. It contains mythology, suspense, and humor. There is no one better than David Steiman, the creative mind behind Santa's Slay, to bring this exciting project to the screen." Ratner has produced some d... good movies, like Red Dragon and Rush Hour. I don't think he'd associate himself with a bomb. This movie could turn out to be pretty d... cool. ... One of the new cast members is, of course, this Douglas de Ravin...who is listed as an apparent second "Granpa" at the moment...or has no cast name as yet... -Gloriana [ 04-12-2004: Message edited Gloryisagod.com ] __________________
