If people wish to discuss the greater universe we have this thread for that. If down the track people find that they do wish to discuss any topic listed in the OP in greater detail, that is a bridge to cross in the future. But of all the items listed in the OP of this thread, FBI is the furthest away from being connected to L&O as it hasn't crossed paths at all. We only know it exists due to SVU crossing over with OC shows, & one of the OC characters crossing over into FBI. I'm sorry but I don't see the point in adding one more thread which may or may not get posts, especially when it has nothing to do with the topic of this board. It is just created by the same person & supposedly exists in the same world. Being on a different network, high chance they'll never crossover & prove they exist in the same world.

FBI is a completely different series and franchise and has nothing to do with the L&O franchise. The only thing it has in common with L&O is that it's a show by the same production company, "Wolf Productions".
You can easily campaign for an FBI Franchise board as it already has a campaign thread here.  ________________ As for the general discussion here for extended universe... Has anyone seen the UK L&O? It's the one I've not seen and it hasn't aired here. I'd like to give it a try and can rent it on iTunes, but don't want to waste money if it's not great.  It has 8 seasons from what I can see.  |

I haven't seen it, sorry. I am not sure if it aired outside the UK tbh?There is a thread for UK. Feel free to ask in there too.
My idea behind this thread is for discussing shows which aren't L&Os but we know exist within the same world because of crossovers. Or in the case of FBI, the game of six degrees of separation  . I think Dick Wolf has confirmed they exist in the same world too though. People can discuss any of those things in here, & my thought is that if down the track a topic is popular or the thread is too confusing then individual threads can be considered. But since this board is for the Law & Order Franchise, that is primarily what the threads on here are for. Not all the many shows & movies which may be connected in the greater universe.Considering the character of Munch has appeared in so many shows maybe there I'd an even greater extended universe of shows which exist in the same world, like X-Files foe example. That or Munch could travel between worlds & this is part of why hehas/had all these conspiracy theories |

I was meaning that bit of my post to continue Sarah's suggestion for a FBI thread. The international shows still fall under it imo
I did have an international thread suggested in the OP but maybe we can merge the two really. I didn't start it as I wasn't sure if people want to discuss the other versions. I think there are French & Russian versions? |

The title of this thread led me to believe it was all the other spin-offs from the OG show, so any of the L&O shows could be discussed here as well as the Wolf Franchise series like FBI.  |

I was right, it is Russia & France. I think they're adaptations of SVU & maybe the original but could be CI?

I am curious what the international versions are like... maybe not as good since other than the UK one they didn't last long?
A part of me is kinda surprised Australia hasn't done its own version since the UK did |

The possibilities are endless for adaptations really.
What interests me most is how certain laws are different in other countries/regions and how that effects the outcome of a case. I don't think I'd know much about another countries laws if not for the different spin offs. |

Providing they actually get things right for those countries
. I'm a bit anti this upcoming NCIS spin off that is meant to be set in Sydney because already just it existing doesn't fit with reality. So maybe it is a good thing there isn't an Aussie adaptation for L&O |
