i was thinking the same thing.
i'm a big gilmore girls fan. but i'm a little confused as to why it ended. i know it had to do something with alexis bledel and money. does anybody know what really happened.

Basically Lauren and Alexis had 7 year contracts, they couldn't come to an agreement on an 8th season even thought it was reported the studio would do as little as 8 eps. It's had to say if Lauren was more willing to come back that Alexis but that was also a rumour as was one where the studio would have done an 8th season with little if any Alexis story or Rory being on screen, focusing on Luke and Lorelai.

As with any of this we may never know the who truth.
