We know she is an absolute badass and so it's always nice to see her softer moments

Exactly it makes her more relatable.

Oh and I also like that they showed her being so hurt. Not that I like seeing her suffer of course, but I mean it was a much moire accurate portrayal. I mean aang got nearly killed by azula but mostly shrugged it off despite being just 12, which was unrealistic. People tend to forget that aang or in this case korra maybe be very powerful superheroes as avatars, but in the end they are just young and rather inexperienced people who have all the weight of the world on their shoulders and in korra's case being so badly hurt and nearly dying at the hands of a crazy fanatic, obviously couldn't leave her unbothered, so I thought it was good they showed her having PTSD and not just shrugging it off as if it was nothing.

I really liked that too. It's quite the shift from how she was before Zaheer but it shows how trauma changes people. Her recovery really was a journey, it took pretty much all of season 4.

Yes very true, a bit of that was hinted with aang after the lightning hit from azula, but it was only touched on lightly. Unlike with korra.

Yeah Aang bounced back after one episode, it took Korra pretty much the whole season.

It's always good to see representation of mental health problems in media so I loved that.

Aside from the powerful mental health struggle, it was also really impactful for me to see Korra in a wheelchair and going through physical therapy with Katara.

Yes right, I never would have imagined to see that on such a type of fantasy show with heroes with magical powers.

Yes, sadly some atla fans call her weak for that.

Yes that too! I loved seeing her recovery time with Katara. The moment when she walks again is a beautiful watch

The one thing I do not like about the avatar show is that it's brought back all types of fan discourse that people had been quiet about for a while Yeah I've seen that take a few too many times the past couple weeks

They think if aang a 12 year old boy could recover quick then korra being like 19 at the time should be even faster.

Yeah I do think some people tweet things just to get a rise out of people but also yikes at some of the takes I see about Korra but it does read like people are being serious about them

Both are incredible, but it's also so interesting to see the differences. She's such an amazing muse
