I'd have to think about that....There was this one actress who I saw in fancasts as Katara a few times before Kiawentiio got the role but I cannot remember her name for the life of me.

Yes she was paralyzed/disabled for nearly a year and then when she could walk again she ran away.

Yes indeed, she was understandably very bitter, sad and angry and broke up the contact with all her friends and family.

I believe korra after mastering the for main elements and metal will sooner or later also master the other side elements, aka blood bending, lava bending and electricity bending. Then she will be basically invincible.

Yeah it can definitely be tempting to isolate yourself when you're going through things. But they found their way back to her.

I could see Mako teaching her to work with lighting for sure! I feel like Amon might have scared her away from bloodbending.

She needed to heal far more than just her body

Like Katara, she could probably do it, but I doubt she would want to.
