Imagine if all filler episodes of any show past or present just said, "Welcome to Fillerville. New plotlines/characters will come and go." You know how many hours we would have saved since childhood?

I actually like some filler episodes...but only if they contribute something to a character or a group of characters that I care about...not pointless guest stars...

TV seasons should be short and tight. Albums should be short and tight. Meanwhile, the people behind this show couldn't write 10 tight episodes. Only S1 which we know was supposed to be 22 episodes until that spiky ball took over is the only tight season because they actually planned that out. I was thinking about the S4 press release and I was saying to myself, Nancy is a flake. That live out their fantasies through her and in turn she comes off as cold B. We're supposed to believe she loves Ace and wants to be with him, but wastes no time

100% agree with this, with the blame squarely placed on the showrunners who want to live out their fantasies with her. The Nace thing is a nice carrot for them to dangle, but that's all it ever really is.

Just cause you can do things...doesn't mean you should.
