I honestly thought she was going to have a love triangle with Lisbeth and Amaya (from 2x12)...but that obviously didn't work out. Lisbeth came back one time and Amaya never came back for another episode again.

This was a good enough episode, but I agree with everyone in this thread, it was the weakest of the season so far. I agree that it felt kind of fillery and some scenes felt repetitive, but there were some really good moments too.

Loved the crew working together in the beginning to solve their Aglaeca issue. I read people saying it felt like it was being dragged forever, and I understand with it carrying into season 2... people watching in real time were probably so tired of it. But me, binging the episodes, it didn't feel like too much at all and I'm really loving this storyline.

Ace going to check on Carson is very cute, I really like those two together and I can always enjoy people more when they are around Ace. I find it interesting that Ace has been wearing the same jacket multiple times this season tho?

The trip of Ace/Carson/Ryan were interesting and one of the best parts of the episode, I agree. I also really like the interactions between the fathers and how they had the conversation about what Carson took from Ryan. TBH, Ryan might have given up Nancy for adoption anyways, no? His parents wouldn't have accepted Lucy's daughter would they? So idk... maybe it was for the best that Carson raised her.

Finally we see Lisbeth damn. Her scene felt plopped into the episode a bit but it was needed to conclude the storyline because that was left in the air. It's just too bad they didn't break up in the previous season. I am not really that sad because I don't think their chemistry was that great and their SL was pretty boring. I want to see Bess get a new love interest that is a bit more passionate/fiery. She deserves a good, meaty storyline. With that said, Lisbeth didn't deserve to be abandoned at dinner like that... cold Bess! They should had a real break up earlier in the episode instead.

That Bess/Ace scene was so sweet though! I love their friendship and wish it was more consistent.

I like G/N but they don't need to be together all the time, I wish they would do some different pairings. The 'I Love You' was sweet but imo it's super fast. I understand they are dying but idk, it feels like they just started dating basically. I was glad that George said she wasn't ready to say it back, because thank you. But Nick was very sweet in that scene it just... idk.. IDK why I'm not totally connecting with these two. But I do like them. I guess I just wish it had happened a tad slower. I mean her sister literally says in the episode "you kicked over the blood bucket last month" like wow, that timeline is so short lol

A bit unsure about seeing George's sister. It's always good to get more family but IDK, I think this could have been saved for a different episode or we could have seen all the sisters together maybe?

The Nancy/Nick scene was unnecessary. I wish they would stop throwing these two weird bones. Nick's "You never asked" was awkward too...

I really enjoyed the Bess/Nancy interactions in this episode, I want them to have a stronger freindship. I also love love loved the Ryan/Nancy scene where he helped her with the "puzzle". It was cute when he said, “I just solved something before Nancy Drew?" I also love that she was open to his suggestion of getting to know one another better, that was sweet. I think the actors have a great chemistry together. Riley does a good job with the character and was meant to be an actor imo. He just has such a natural and charming way about him imo.

THAT ENDING SCENE WAS CREEPY AF. But has me excited for the next episode!

Still over here impatiently waiting for the Nancy/Ace SL to start!

Can someone please just give me an episode # to look forward to?

Be careful what you wish for

The Nace stuff really picks up after the Aglaeca storyline ends. I know you find this annoying every time I say this…but it’s a slow burn. This really is such a good season for them despite other…storylines.
