I really don't understand what even needs to be discussed about the possibility of a board.

If the board happens it will be filled with characters and couples from tv shows, books, movies, video games who are within the community. Not to mention the tv shows, movies, books, and video games they all come from could possibly have threads. Plus many celebs that are a part of the community.

All of which are entertainment. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm just very confused.

I presume what happened was that Goldenboy misunderstood the purpose of the board, said no, & Jerry hasn't had the chance to talk to him to explain the true purpose. Therefore we don't have a decision made yet.

I presume it was a simple misunderstanding that it was a board about the community/sexualities, & not about entertainment still. Not specifically the community itself, but the idea behind the board.

I could see that (and I'm sure there will be threads about that but not just that) but they could have looked through the thread and/or asked just to be sure before making the decision.

But anyway... hopefully we will get news about it soon and it will be good news.

Same. With the way things are going, it's not like we even have a huge shot of actually getting the board so why not just give us a chance

That's a really good point. Just give us the chance. Getting a board will be very difficult. New boards rarely happen anymore unless their from the special polls so they probably don't even have anything to worry about but at least we are giving the chance.

I actually think it has a good chance, depending on what people vote for. As there is quite a strong interest here for the board. But I presume many of us have other campaigns so the picking one option may make it hard & lessen chances. But I imagine that this option would have a high chance of getting added quickly or even the first time it is in the poll, a bit like Wednesday did last month.
