some update: Maria eventually lost in the 3rd round to Halep.

she starts in Tianjin next week and her 1st round opponent is Caroline Garcia, so that's another toughie

in other news, Maria is helping Puerto Rico by donating all the income of Sugarpova for the rest of the year

there's been a slight change of plans. she's playing Begu tomorrow since Garcia has withdrawn from the tourney

probably needs rest after winning the title in Beijing

yeah, they're really delicious

she won both her R1 and R2 matches in straight sets

she faces Voegele in the QF tomorrow. Maria's moving up the rankings fast these days, she's already 76th now
