Earlier today Arsenal defeated Aston Villa 3-2 in the 4th round of the FA Cup. Good win for the Gunners. They got off to a slow start, falling behind by two goals in the first half, but they played more aggressively, which paid off when they forced a couple of penalty kicks, which were converted into goals by Robin van Persie. Plus Theo got a lucky goal. I`m very pleased with how well the Gunners stepped up their play in the second half to get themselves a much needed win.

Kerstin, he played really well for us when he was with us, and the fans love him, so yeah would want him back...although it does seem a rumour now , are we going to get anyone in this transfer window..

I feel bad for Ballack. I really do. No more chance for him to escape bench at Bayer and yesterday there were rumors for an impending ManU move that didn't hold truth. For most of his career he was the very overrated and now he's seriously underrated. Too bad, really. We wouldn't have made the finale in 2002 if it hadn't been for him and Oli Kahn.

Well done Bristol City too - you reject a £6m offer for Nicky Maynard in the summer which would give Crewe a cool £750k due to a sell-on clause (20 % of the profit, that is anything over £2.25m) only to sell him to West Ham now for £1.65m, giving Crewe nothing.

At least we got some money due to Ben Marshall moving from Stoke to Leicester.

No new players for us, even with van Buyten out for a couple of weeks. Everton offered to buy Danijel Pranjic but Bayern refused and I was like 'What? Why? He's not that good a player in the first place. I think he played...yes, zero games this season. Why keep him? I don't get it.'

I am completely confused as to why Tottenham felt the need to buy Saha and Manchester united decided to buy another youngster and still no midfielder. Thank god for Paul Scholes return. Im so happy the gigner prince has returned to restore a little class to our mid field.

I am dreading the next few games for us though they are not easy ones and with our goalkeeper situation every time the ball is in our own half never mind the box I automatically cover my eyes. I miss Van der Sar he probably won us the league last year and was a force unlike our twig-lets we keep sticking between the sticks. Our defense is rocky and this has to be Ferdinands last year, he has lost to much pace and is completely our of sorts. I am surprised it has happened so soon though. I doubt he will make the euro squad.

Sneijder was too expensive and Modric only had eyes for Chelsea, that being said the return of Scholes could be good for Cleverly's development, particularly so with the increased pressure on him now.

Yes, we may have bought De Gea young enough to improve his skill set in regard to crosses, so as far as i am concerned Lindegaard should be first choice for th remainder of the season. The latter is also better at communicating his wishes to the defence which is important.

Chelsea will be a tough one despite their supposed weakness.

Great result for us yesterday , despite going down to 10 men with that idiot Nolan getting sent off!, we did a great performance and won , plus other results went our way too

Congrats, Tracy on the Hammer's win!

Bayern only drew. I don't get their inconsistency at all. We have the best starting 11 of the league - what's coming off the bench is not that great but still they should perform better. Lost top of the table to Dortmund. Will have to up our game to get it back from them.
