TFTNT :high_five:

Just have to say this

We're TOP of the League!!!, we're TOP of the League :woot: :yay: :D

Ok I've finished

Hot Rod 01-21-2012 03:00 PM

TFTNT and for using my suggestion as the title. ;)
Congrats on West Ham`s win, which gets them to the top of the table in the League Tracy.

Clint Dempsey became the first American to have a hat trick, which helped Fulham get a 5-2 win over Newcastle, while Chelsea was held to a scoreless draw by Norwich City.

In Serie A, Juventus defeated Atalanta 2-0 to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points.

Lastly Arsenal will be hosting Manchester United at the Emirates tomorrow. I really hope that the Gunners can get some payback.

Almeida's Army 01-21-2012 05:32 PM

Enjoy it while it lasts. I trust you will be tuning in to see the Saints regain their rightful spot at the top of the table? ;)

In both our interests, though, Boro lost! :yay: Cos at the end of the day, does it matter who finishes first or second? As long as there is a big enough gap between us and third, then I'm happy :)

And I'll be happier still if we finish first ;)

crazy_diamond 01-22-2012 04:36 AM

I'll be keeping an eye on the match tomorrow night ;) , and good result for both of us concerning Boro, shame about Cardiff though..:pout:

Thanks Rod :high_five:, and I hope Arsenal do one over on Man Utd. today , great result by Fulham yesterday :)

Mrs Jude Law 01-22-2012 06:28 AM

Bayern lost to Gladbach on Friday. What a bummer. Thought they'd start off the second half of the season better than last year. Bayern's still top of the league, lacking the 3-points comfy lead they've had before Christmas.

Congrats, Tracey!

Yeah you can never count on P*mpey to do you any favours!

Thought they were going to get a point at least..:pout:

Rod - I think Arsene did a clanger there..

Hot Rod 01-22-2012 02:57 PM

What a frustrating loss for Arsenal this afternoon. :( The Gunners missed some good opportunities in the second half and Arsene made a very questionable substitution by bringing Arshavin for Ox. I don`t know what else is there to say other than this is very frustrating to see the Gunners losing their third straight EPL match along with another missed chance to gain some ground on Tottenham and Chelsea.

Nick HeyRee 01-22-2012 08:52 PM

Evra normally displays his attacking play to great advantage against Arsenal but yesterday in the first half in particular was top drawer. We sat far too deep in injury time mind you, quite unnecessary for the nerves of United supporters.

Today's substitution aside i really don't know why Wenger hasn't sold Arshavin long since. His heart hasn't been at Arsenal for maybe two years.

City should lose both Lescott and Balotelli to bans.

TFTNT :D

Congrats to West Ham on their win, and sorry about Arsenal and Bayern's poor results. :( A 4-1 win for Crewe against Dagenham & Redbridge keyed by a Paul Robinson-esque howler from the Daggers goalkeeper. :yay: Just hope we get to keep our team together until at least the summer - there's people sniffing around 17 year-old starlet Nick Powell at the moment, so I'm hoping the transfer window shuts before something concrete happens.

Hot Rod 01-23-2012 12:11 AM

Congrats on Crewe`s win. Also i`ve been hearing a lot good stuff about Nick Powell. Right now Arsenal and Chelsea are the top suitors for him. I do hope that the Gunners can get Nick, who would be a star of the future for them.

Avatar 01-23-2012 01:43 AM

I read Ipswich made a £2m offer that rightly got rejected. Bristol City paid £2,250,000 for Nicky Maynard in 2008. Powell has a higher ceiling than Maynard, and Arsenal did pay £12m for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. I don't think Powell'd go for anywhere close to that, but I wouldn't sell for anything less than the £3m Crewe got for Dean Ashton back in the day.

crazy_diamond 01-23-2012 04:51 AM

well done Dan :), I'm hoping too that no clubs come sniffing around our players, hands off!

Thanks Kerstin! :D

Rod, had chances to win that, Van Persie missed a sitter..and then the sub..

Mrs Jude Law 01-23-2012 06:46 AM

What a dreadful weekend foottie-wise. Tough loss for Bayern and knock out for the Ravens.

But isn't that the fate of a lower league(not for long, I know) club in European footie leagues?? Fürth has to let players go all the time. It's sad.

Bayern needs to replace van Buyten who broke his foot in Friday's game against Gladbach. They are short one center back. Anyone free in England?
