Going out in public now (which I'm hardly doing), I feel so standoffish. Normally, I'm very smiley, and I say hi to people. But now I'm just focused on getting in there, getting what I need, and getting out.

It was all because of that damn poster, too. Sometimes I feel silly for getting so upset over something related to a TV show, but I talked to my friend, and she was like, “No, your feelings are valid. Especially when it comes to Bob. You care about him as a person.” That assurance from her was good. And then Logan’s livestream was fun and made me laugh a lot. Woke up this morning feeling pretty down again, but slightly better than yesterday, so that’s something, I guess. One of the first things I saw was Bob’s tweet, so that helped. Reminded me that I need to be compassionate towards myself right now.

I get that - but at the same time it is surprising - because from what I've seen when out and about is that more people are more smiley and more polite then usually

This has been the worst week for fandom, for me too - at work. I just hope that ConaGeddon will happen as scheduled and we can hear some truths (finally).

Oh, man, I need Conageddon.

This week has been the most draining week in the fandom in my entire life. I've felt like a kicked puppy. Plus, my mom is very stressed out because someone in my dad's workplace is getting tested for Covid-19. Hopefully we'll find out the results tomorrow, but if this coworker has it, then he might get it, and she might get it, and that's stressed her out a lot. And it's scary for me, too, but I'm trying not to think about it.

Update: It did come back negative. So relieved.

I think it’s time for a check-in. How are we all doing? What are we all doing to take care of ourselves?

Yesterday, I was at a really low point. Today has been better. Spent time with my best friend (socially distanced, of course), and I think this interaction is going to be key for both of us when it comes to making it through the coming months. I’ve also decided to go for walks now.

Oh, that's great news!

I've had a rough week at work, plus all this world news is also draining me mentally. I just need to find something which helps me to destress because when I get into my moods, I just don't function well at all and it sucks.
