The humans in first kill are kinda even worse than the vampires in terms of hatred. Juliette's mum is more understanding of her feeligns than calliope's mum.

Also the fact juliette's dad randomly ate her grandma.

Same! I just rewatched it over the weekend with a friend, and I complained that the two girls didn't get a lot of focus towards the end and idk what I was thinking, but they definitely had quite a bit of screen time The Burns Brothers are definitely still annoying on rewatch though, so that complaint was valid

agreed, ratings don't always tell the truth, good or bad, it's better to check it out for yourself. too many reviewers/critics don't actually watch the shows they criticize, they just write stuff based on sm posts, review aggregates, and alleged popular opinion.

Did not exactly like everything about the last episode of first kill, too much about the brothers. Also the family of calliope is pretty bigoted and hateful, they even want to kill thier own kid. That is like a family killing their kid bc it's gay or has a disability.

Also call is kinda unfair, she should've been thankful that juliette saved her brother, he may be a vampire but at least he's alive, without her he'd have been dead.
