Yes though especially netflix lately has had the same issue as the CW. money issues which resulted in several cancellations.

I saw now two episodes of welcome to eden, so far no lesbian action but a little bit of gay action. Other than that the show is pretty good actually. That cult is kinda creepy.

Yea they canceled 7 shows? That's crazy. That makes 3 with lesbian stories going on

Charmed, Batwoman and LoT

I am going through my DVR finally watching some old shows/movies I had on it and just watched the Lifetime Christmas movie with Elise Bauman last night, called Under the Christmas Tree and it was really cute too. The other woman looked a lot older than Elise, so it was a little weird

But they had really good chemistry together, so that was a plus.

Wasn't the network sold? Viacom/Warner definitely wanted to sell it earlier this year, so that explains all the cancellations. The same happened when the CW was established, a lot of UPN/WB shows were cancelled back then too.

Yet it‘s such an idiotic idea. Cancelling so many shows will piss off a lot of potential customers for CW2.0
I feel the CW will either be dissolved or transformed into a reality tv channel. In both cases they‘d not need the type of customers interested in scripted shows.

LoT was one of their big successful shows wasn't it? anyway i am done with CW. completely done.

started watching The Wilds...well i am not really into this season so far but i am only at episode 2.

Finished Season 2 of The Wilds.

Season one was amazing! Had it all! The girls story was powerful, relatable, and opened up a whole world for the characters. Well done!

Then we get to seasons 2. Whilst the beginning was exciting, I was quickly bored by the boys. Their story is flat...unconnected and well boring. Season 2 should have brought more past connections to why the girls are there and growth. And yes, spoilers beware....

Spoiler:

They had so much room to grow and just went with a bad side plot.

Girl... 10/10.... boys.....go home

BTW I finally watched the final 3 episodes of Killing Eve the other day. I'll spoil it in case anybody that wants to watch, hasn't yet. And doesn't want to be spoiled.

Completely agree with everything you said. It's like they had a plan, add boys and get the story to set up s3. And then just added random stuff to fill those episodes

Yeah I still get mad over Killing Eve especially when I read comments on Tumblr I felt like this was 2016 and 3x07 again...

I am still not getting the hype about The Wilds

The CW is not a sought after entity, I doubt there are a lot of potential buyers, especially ones willing to pay for a network with a lot of shows that have bad ratings. So it makes sense they are cancelling shows. There is also a potential buyer, some owner of local TV stations, so it's also possible that the cancellations are a consequence of that.

The CW was never profitable so I wonder what it'll be turned into. Could become one of those syndication channels with a few original shows.
