I can understand people's frustration with not enough of the Clarks but just like TWD it's an ensemble show and there was only one and a half episodes that didn't have the Clarks in it hardly. The ottos and then the proctors had their own centric episodes last season so it's not any different for this new cast.
Yeah, I have a love/hate thing with Naomi. Personally I think shootingd her or trying was an dcghgh __________________

Yeah, I have a love/hate thing with Naomi. Personally I think shootingd her or trying was an overreaction but it does look like Naomi left Madison to fend for herself. I genuinely thought those two escaped together but now it feels like Naomi has joined the Vultures.. b**** __________________

i understand too and part of me feels frustrated as well. of course since i adore Alycia i want Alicia to have the most screen time. also i hated Nick's death and now to know where Madison is.
nevertheless i like the entire concept of the show and i admit i care for it much more than i did in the beginning. in season 1 and even start if season 2 i only kept watching because of Alicia but now i even enjoy episodes without Alicia and just featuring John for example. i do like certain things of season 4: they are using Naomi and John to tell a darkly tinted story of positivity that TWD has never really been able to capture. they are building up new interesting characters. they are having a good villain with the Vultures imo. all these things make me keep watching FTWD even though with all the flashbacks it's like a different show. but our favorite characters are still there (don't they dare to kill off John). __________________

John isn't going to die, Nick already died by gunshot wound it would be dumb to repeat that again. Plus John is very interesting and they can't be that dumb and waste that potential. That's my theory

overall i think it was a good episode. we finally got an answer about why Naomi is the way she is. that's what the episode was about. rose eating everyone at the FEMA camp because Naomi didn't want them to get kicked out is traumatizing ****. now innocent Jon getting shot (i don't think he is dead), Naomi will save him because he saved her.
i just think Morgan and John messed up letting that Vulture go but we know neither likes killing. so the action makes sense and so do Naomi's. she has a habit of going solo on a plan cause its "risky". for all we know teaming up with the Vultures might just be another fake out. it's risky **** infultrating them and she wanted to go it solo to make the others reactions more believable. that's my new theory anyway... curious to see how the next episodes play out. i'm enjoying it overall (Nick's death aside). and if my theory is not true, then i really dislike Naomi. i don't even know if to call her Naomi or Laura lol. __________________

Yep very sure John survives.
Naomi/Laura playing the Vultures is a bit too far fetched in my opinion but it could happen. Any guess is as good as mine I am worried about Charlie. They've been building up and mentioning Charlie so much, a redemption arc is obvious, but I just don't see the fandom accepting her as a new main character, even if she ends up with Morgan, Dorie, and Al. She'd just be a painful reminder of Nick's death. I'm OK with it just because I think the actress shows promise akin to Lola and Ofelia, who I hate they killed off. It would be nice to follow through with a character that has promise instead of just continuing to kill them all off. __________________

not a big fan of neither Charlie nor Laura/Naomi at this point. just saying it out loud now but like you described below, Charlie could stick around longer. i don't think Luciana has the guts to kill her off.

Charlie I can't stand at all and after what she did to Nick there is just no way that I want her to survive although i don't think anyone in the main group has the cold heartedness to kill a child unless it's Alicia or Madison for killing Nick.
I still like Naomi because Genna has always been a good actress. I hope it's not what some are thinking and she's always been with the Vultures. She knew all those people at the FEMA shelter and she broke down that tells us a lot about her. She's selfish and cold because if she gets close to someone chances are you're gonna lose them next Nobody is safe in an apocalypse so it's interesting to see this show take risks with characters dying as opposed to TWD where they're nearly invincible and their deaths only for shock or the season finales __________________

Can't stand morgan, with his let's all be nice and peaceful bs he really enervates me. It's so unfitting in this world. Also he's a traitor. I wish Alycia would've shot him.
I wouldn't mind laura dying either. She's literally one of the most enervating character in the whole walking dead universe. And fear didn't use to have those enervating characters before gimple arrived. Also again too little alycia. I don't get why they put her in the front and center of posters, but then she has so little screetime. That's the same as with hayden panettiere on nashville season 5-6. I guess this always happens when new and less competent showrunners/writers take over. Quote:
I agree with some here. I personally like only really john of the new characters and he's maybe already dead now? This season is very badly writtin so far. I mean I put it on a level with season 1 of ftwd, ok but surely not overly interesting. Season 2 and 3 are better. I hope they also kill off alicia by the end of this season, so that we can enjoy her on a better show. That is is already happeing with the second celeb I ship seriously pisses me off right now. Maybe the show gets better, but I wouldn't bet on it. __________________

That's weird because the response to the season is surprisingly quite positive all over the internet
This show is just fine and Alycia is playing a multilayered character __________________

I don't think that Naomi was a mole for the vultures, but it is curious how she ended up with them. That we saw her POV at the FEMA camp is what I'm basing that on and when she said she was sorry. I don't understand how she knows that it was her daughter, that caused all of them to turn. Also, since Alicia isn't asking about Madison may be a clue, she must be dead and why Alicia wanted Naomi dead... I'm guessing John will probably live. BTW, Fear won't be back until June 3rd.

The show is very gimplied. And this becomes more and more like twd season 8. I bet a lot of the people on the internet are people who didn‘t watch the show before (last season had very low ratings) and actually like twd a lot and due to the changes they gave this new season a chance. I know ftwd fans from twitter who see it like me and chiplescap.
Also while alicia is indeed multilayered her screen time in most eppies so far is ridiculously small. She has too little time to really shine. I hope that at least this changes. Quote:

FTWD from all over the place (including twitter) love this season and have a renewed interest in the show along with many that have been around since the first season.. Is it a reset and a reboot of sorts? Yes but shows need that sometimes. Is it gimpliefied? Yes but it's been better than anything TWD has done in a long time.
Oh well, I don't expect everyone to like it and would be surprised if nobody hated it. But there are plenty of other TV shows out there. Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend so no new episode. __________________

Can you stop this ensemble show bull**** please ? I try to make you understand. Despite the multiplayer character in TWD, Rick and his team, and the main characters are always the focus. You see the story from their perspective because they are the main characters, you started with them you follow them, yes time-to-time other characters get their moments to shine, but they never overshadow the main group.
The crossover borght the toxicity to the show, people who are not watched the show, now joined, and start talking **** on the old characters, just because they want their precios john and naomi : " Alicia piised of the john naomi shipper,s she must die " "John is the best character, with biggest fandom "- and etc etc other bull**** if Alicia and the other FEAR character would go to the the main show, and suddenly they get more screen time, than the originals, and people would be like, Rick daryl, michonne suck, yade yade, the TWD fanboys would not be happy either , simple is that I started this because of Alycia, i will stick around as long as she is, but i wont be silent if i'm unsatisfied. expecially because you just keep waiting and waiting to finally Alicia get the charachter development and screentiem she deserve, but even Nick death was more about morgan than his actual sister and as for the ratings , the fact are clear, they are not doing better than they did in last season, they are are the same level, a little bit lower. Premier, not matter that was right after the original show, casual peoples stick around. so in the end of the day, the crossover didn't bring anything beside toxic people from the original show, who are now talk **** on the Clarks. and no, not everyone love the season. not on twitter, not on reddit, not on other places, it is trully old fans vs new fans and with all kind of respect : "But there are plenty of other TV shows out there." - This is the extremely jerk mentality, please tune it down, and don't tell others how to fell or act or watch somethign else Thanks , peace __________________

^ I totally get your point and you're right I agree with you. The main focus should always be on the Clarks. New characters and their development is important yes but to find the right balance is difficult
I personally couldn't care less about ratings at this point. This show will get renewed as long as Gimple wants And about Nick's death, yes it was more about Morgan and I am still missing Alicia's reaction or better, her actually talking about it with someone (Strand or Luciana) __________________
