Yeah for some shows (*cough* AoS) I like to keep up to date on anything that comes out, but in general I prefer to sit back and be surprised too

The netflix format is extremely conducive to not wanting to look up spoilers, cause everything comes out at once, it's right there. Only limit is how fast can you make through it.

I'll still watch some shows in "real time" as they come out, but the netflix way is totally my preferred method now.

same, when you can binge watch you at least know not to go onto any social media until you're done and that's manageable with week to week shows, spoilers can come from anywhere at any time it feels like.

Yeah totally, in my case, I'm watching Supergirl. But I can't watch a new episode until the next day... have to remember to steer clear of any message boards right after airing.

I watch all my shows the next day. We don't have cable so I have to wait for Hulu to upload them. Which I think they upload them at like 4am that morning after they air, but I am asleep so I just watch them when I get a chance the next day.

I only get spoiled if I delay my watching. I remember on the 2nd day that the show is available on Netflix, people are already in ep 7 or 8 and I'm like "Uh-oh, I haven't even started watching yet!" So the only time that we do get spoiled is if we read reviews online. And prior to JJ being available, I wasn't really spoiled except for some of the BTS shots that were released.

My cousin is super fast at watching and he likes to talk EXTENSIVELY about stuff... whenever there's a new netflix show that I wanna watch I tend to just avoid him until I can watch it... not very healthy but works!

Yes to more of Jessica's backstory!

The character of Trish is based on Patsy Walker (her child star name in the show), the Marvel comics character better known as Hellcat. Played by Rachael Taylor, Trish did not assume her superhero alter-ego during the first season, but there were hints about her possibly doing so in the future; not least in her desire to fight for justice alongside Jessica. Now Taylor has discussed that relationship dynamic a little more, in an interview with CBR News (via Comicbook.com). Discussing the “imperfect relationship” between Trish and Jessica, Taylor referenced the hints of jealousy we saw between the two in season one; particularly in the way Trish upped her fight training in an effort to stand alongside Jessica on more equal footing: “I think Trish would really like to see Jessica use her gifts, her superhero powers, to a greater extent than what she probably does. I think Trish is very much an alpha personality type. I think she’s a very ambitious woman. And I think probably, if she had the same superhero powers that Jessica had, she thinks that she would probably do a lot more with them.” As yet, very little is known about Jessica Jones’ second season, mainly because it’s only just been ordered, but showrunner Melissa Rosenberg has said she is looking forward to exploring more of Jessica’s backstory. Of course, that would potentially involve a closer look at how Jessica and Trish came to have such a deep bond, which was touched upon in flashback during season one.

I'm usually the first to watch new shows, so every time someone in my family wants to be spoiled they come to me, it can get frustrating sometimes cause they'll ask me when I've already moved on to a new show

It's exactly like that with my roommate, she asks me about shows months after I moved on, and at that point I can barely recall any particular moments except for the broadest of story beats.
