They should although it will still be a while for us to even get a round of spoilers.

Yes, a writer talking spoilers would get fired really quick.

Plus with Netflix it's hard with spoilers. They're pretty good with hiding things as compared to network TV, I think. Or are they the same?

I think it's easier to hide stuff when you don't have to worry about releasing the eps week after week. Of course once it's out it's easier to get spoiled for Netflix shows if you don't binge watch as fast as the rest of the world but I think before it comes out, it's easier to keep stuff under wraps.

Spoilers are not what they used to be for Network TV. 10 years ago people could visit the area where they were filming and share actual spoilers from scenes they saw being filmed. Now the only spoilers we get are ones that the network or the people working on the show release themselves.

We used to get lots of good, reliable spoilers and now they are usually just vague slightly spoilerish things. But once Netflix releases a new series you pretty much have to avoid social media until you can binge watch it.

That's true. They shoot all the 13 eps like a movie so if we do get spoilers, it's from location shoots. With S2 just around the corner, we got some on location shots but they're mostly vague. I mean these are the kind of spoilers I'd like as compared to spoilers that are "OMG, is that Elektra's death scene?" or something like that.

Yes the vague spoilers are better to me as well. You can't really be spoiled anymore which is fine with me. I actually prefer to not be spoiled. Otherwise there is no shock factor

Yeah if I think back now to the on set pics we got from JJ when they were filming, they really didn't give away much at all. I'm sure they take great measures to make sure nothing that could be a real giveaway is released in advance.

I think they do to. I think they are worried about it effecting ratings and making people not tune if they already know what's going to happen.

They've done pretty well at keeping things under wraps especially the shows that are filmed in a row.

Yeah, I like the feeling of being shocked over SLs. Coming into watching this show, I know I will already love it cause it has DT but even more than DT, the show is just so good and I like that it started out slow and picked up towards the middle. By then, I just wanted to binge-watch everything right away.

I prefer to be shocked as well. If you hear about the spoilers and then hear everyones opinion on the spoilers it can change the way you view the ep when you see it. That's the main reason why I stay away from them.

I have a difficult relationship with spoilers, on one hand I like reading some stuff in advance, getting the info slightly out of context can be great to send the mind reeling with possibilities.

But I also like having a fresh experience the first time I watch it, so it ends up being this balancing act where I want some info to get excited about, but not everything because I like some surprises... Le sigh
