I noticed Walter was very touchy-feely this week. I wonder if he was doing it deliberately because he was confused about the Florence dream issue? Although I kind of hope it was actually just a natural manifestation of his feelings for Paige.

Waige is generally pretty touchy feely IMO, but I think Walter was a little extra so this week because he felt guilty.

They were making a big deal that Walter was avoiding Florence. It's not surprising if his confusion and guilt would make him seek more contact with Paige.

Yep. I actually find it cute that he feels so guilty. Dreams are nothing to feel guilty about, but he still feels unfaithful, and that just further proves that doing that to her is the last thing he would ever do in real life.

Definitely. It was the guilt that was eating at him the most. Even though it didn't really happen, just dreaming about being with Florence was enough to make him think that somehow it meant that he didn't love Paige and he couldn't understand that at all, because of course he does love her more than anything.

Yeah - he has just recently come to terms with how much he's loved her for how long, and since he never would cheat on her, dreaming that he was with someone else probably threw everything into doubt and fear.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that this whole dream concern is more amusing than dumb. Walter worries about it for weeks, proving - as Toby explains - that he really DOES love Paige because of his guilt for dreaming about another woman being his wife.

Also, I have no doubt in my mind that Paige will be a little jealous (if not a lot) about the dream and will worry over the whole scenario more than she'll let on, and IF she does brood over it, then the fact that this stupid dream messes with her mind and probably makes her jealous will, to me, show how much she loves Walter just like Walter's guilt shows how much he loves Paige.

If you think about it (and if the writers handle this situation properly), this whole dream thing will probably be a lot less dramatic than what many might think.

Anyhoo, I made this Waige parallel today.

I suspect at first Paige will be upset about it. She's been cheated on before and even if she feels confident that Walter would never do that, she's likely to have a short fuse where that sort of thing is concerned. But I'm sure when she has a chance to calm down and think, she'll realized that a dream means nothing.
