Thank you guys!

I was born in D.C., and when I was younger, my friends would be so shocked, thinking I was super important for being born there, lol.

I visited DC in eighth grade during a field trip, but I wouldn't want to live there (or any city for that matter). Too crowded, lol. I like the prairie land just fine, haha.

Hope everything went well, Kim!

I like visiting cities, but living in them isn't really my thing. I did love living in Louisville, but I was on the outskirts.

FoxPhile 10-28-2018 12:50 PM

It probably helps that Louisville is so close to places you love.

I'm going to miss living near the city - in terms of the conveniences. But I'll substitute the relative security I'll have in the country.

WeBuiltThePyramids 10-28-2018 01:49 PM

Yeah, the location of Louisville definitely helped.

One thing I miss about living back in the country is no one delivers here. Otherwise, I have no complaints, but I was raised in rural areas, so it's just my thing.

That's the thing I'm going to miss most. Where I'm going I can get a pizza delivered, but that is pretty much it. Any other food and I have to go get it. I can order ahead - but I still have to go. Same with groceries. How does one survive without grocery delivery?!?!?!?!

Cyclone139 10-28-2018 03:30 PM

I do everything online and I love having things delivered to my door... except groceries, because I actually love going to the supermarket! People think I'm mad.

FoxPhile 10-28-2018 04:26 PM

I used to love going to the grocery store. But between not having to hassle with parking; or hauling the bags out to the car; or hauling the bags into the house - delivery is WAY better. :)

Thanks. I'm in recovery at home now. The first two days were rough, and I didn't take well to the anesthesia, but today wasn't as bad. Hopefully tomorrow will be even better.

Glad you're home and recuperating, Kim!

Hope you're feeling even better today, Kimberly. :)

This time of year always surprises me. One day I'm going to bed and it's still a little grey outside, and it seems like the next day I'm eating supper and it's totally dark.

Being from Australia this time of year it doesn't get dark until 9pm plus our seasons are backwards so it's spring going in to summer!

This weekend we US folks Fall Back.
