And no you can't help who you fall in love with and I am sure he didn't plan on falling in love with her in the first place. I agree with the fact that Liz has been in love with him from the first moment.

When do you think Tom really fell in love with her?

I'm not sure. Maybe since when we saw them first in the Pilot. They were together longer than our first sight of them in that episode. I just can't see how you can be that close to someone and not develop feelings for the person. Even a little. So maybe it all started when Tom got to know Liz better and see who she really was as a person.

I somehow think that he was in love with her already when we first met them in the pilot... He might not have fully realized it but he was definitely. They have been in a relationship for years, so I guess that at some point in these years you'd fall in love, you'd start to care.

Yeah, I really think so... I don't know how to explain it but it's been year. He must have cared already... And no matter what he did, I think he already loved her although he might have tried anything to not let it be. Maybe he didn't even realize it but I think since we met them he loved her

I don't know. Ever since I knew that Tom was who he said he was and that this was all a lie I didn't believe he loved Liz. But this season I saw for the first time that he does.

I'm sure he wanted to fight it, keeping his head straight that this is a "job", but he fell in love. They spend so much time together, it was bound to happen.

And honestly, they are so much alike... Seeing her going through all that trouble with her adoptive father, her believes and wishes. He as well didn't know his parents and so on. I think this is something that makes them work so well, really. Like Tom said in the latest episode. They understand each other better than we ever could I guess.

They do understand each other better cause they have been through the same thing but Liz doesn't know that Tom doesn't know his parents does she? She at least didn't in S1.
