Omg I love the flashbacks. Yeah poor aylee lacked the emotional punch. I think Kenna would have made more sense since we knew more about her. But I just don't see them slowing down the pace.

I was not at all broken up by her death. I didn't care for the character and, sadly, her death was used as nothing more than a plot twist. No one cared on or offscreen.

I'd love to see more glimpses of MF as kids. And maybe even a look at Catherine taking care of Mary when she was little-- they were supposedly close.

Shippers aside, for me the show is at its best when it used historical/political background for its episode, the beginning of Fated was

.

Hopefully they'll do a flashback episode of Mary's first day in the french court.

I had been DYING for them to talk about Elizabeth. Henry did eventually declare Mary and Francis the King and Queen of England, so I was hoping to see this sl play out onscreen. I just didn't expect to get it this soon.

I think if the series is renewed, Elizabeth T. would eventually become more of a villain and we will have a face (actress) for her. Instead of a villian with no face, I mean I'm sure she is responsible for the English attempts on Mary's life.

Uh. Maybe in the season finale?

I think the rest of the season would be more along the lines of repairing Mary/Francis relationship and their marriage. Along with the consequences of characters actions in the first half.
