I think my first soap ship was Tony & Renee. I was devastated when they discovered they were brother and sister.
Like Jane, Tony was definitely a troubled soul, although I don't think Renee had any similarities with Lisbon. __________________

She came on the show as the younger sister of Lee DuMonde, a character who tried to split up Doug and Julie. Later it was revealed that she was actually Lee's daughter by Stefano. Before that was all revealed, she was stalked by the Salem Strangler, so Stefano invited her to stay at his mansion for protection. It was while she was staying there that she and Tony fell in love.
Lee discouraged their relationship - since, of course, she knew they were siblings. But she didn't want Stefano to find out, so she didn't say anything. Eventually, she was killed by the Salem Slasher who turned out to be Tony's identical cousin, Andre/ __________________

So andre has always been evil I started watching days in 03 during the Salem stalker turns out andre hypnotized Marlene to think she killed all these people while they were on a island

Yes, Andre was nasty, I really hated when they brought him on, because I liked the character of Tony so much better.

Tony was very conflicted. He was Stefano's son, which meant he benefitted from all of Stefano's shady dealings. But he had a heart of gold. It's very difficult for him to live with that contradiction.
