Well, at least Jane didn't propose while Lisbon was on her hands and knees scrubbing things. Although if Jane proposed on a dock over a lake, he would have dropped the ring for sure!

Something I noticed about Sam is he was always afraid of talking about his past Andy met Sam dad in prison after that he told her everything and he acted shocked that she was still there do you think Jane was afraid to tell Lisbon about his past cause he thought she'd leave him

I think Jane was nervous about telling anyone of his past on the carnival circuit, and Lisbon especially since, as a law-enforcement person she would naturally frown on some of the elements of that life. On the other hand, he was completely open about being a fake psychic and pretty much duping thousands of people. As they got closer, though, I think Jane realized that Lisbon was not judgmental and so he got more comfortable with telling her.

I'm a big fan of Blue Bloods and I love the Jamie / Eddie ship on that show. What you said about Sam and Andy is sort of similar. Eddie's father is in prison and she's very insecure about her ability to fit in with Jamie's family - who have been cops for 3 generations.

The one thing that gets a bit tiresome about Blue Bloods is the the Reagan family - the main characters - are presented as pretty much perfect. Even when they do something wrong it's worked into the story that it was the right thing to do. But I still like the show.

I sort of wish they would work in some relationships for the other characters. It's still a little soon for Danny - his wife died before the current season began. But they've had Erin in a round of short relationships that all had problems. Frank seems to live like a monk most of the time.

I think the ring proposal was very fitting for Jane and Lisbon. Lisbon was very aware of how much that ring meant to him - and what it represented. If he'd simply stopped wearing the ring before proposing to her in a more traditional way, that would have been fine. But the way he did it, it really let her know that he was ready to put the past behind him and share his life with her completely.
