I used to be a big Days fan, but I quit watching years ago, so I don't even know who those two characters are.

The melodrama in the scene - the flashing red light, the whole thing with the tie and the tense music - is a bit over the top, even for a soap opera. Like I was wondering if it was a spoof episode for Halloween or something.

I did realize that Will is Sami and Lucas' son - and I remember when he was born!

We've been having an absolutely perfect Fall - sunny days, just warm enough to go without a jacket or sweater, with mornings and evenings that are just a bit chilly. My favorite time of year.

I like passing out candies and seeing the kids in their costumes. In my apartment building you sign up if you're willing to have the kids come by, so if you're on the list - quite a few do come.

A few times I've gone to Halloween parties and I usually like making my own costume from odds and ends. I've been a gypsy fortune teller, a nun and Pippi Longstocking

You really can't afford to procrastinate if you are making your own costume. It takes time to come up with an idea and figure out what things you already have that can work with it, then go out and find or make anything else you need. The one I did the most special work for was the nun. It's not like I had a habit and wimple hanging around the house. But I did have a bunch of black cotton material left over from another project, which is what prompted the nun.

I do usually procrastinate on getting the candy to hand out and wind up dashing out on Halloween afternoon. Which is probably just as well, because if I bought it ahead of time, I'd just eat it.
