The whole thing feels rushed. And especially when it happened again - however innocently - that Jane didn't answer her phone call. Lisbon has never struck me as the kind of woman who is going to just accept being treated that way. Which is not to say she can't be forgiving - I think she definitely can. But I don't think she would be so quickly and easily forgiving of something that has happened time and again - and is now even more of an issue since they are a couple. It was one thing for Jane to take off when he was just her consultant and any other relationship or feelings they had were unacknowledged.

Of course, we don't really know what the extent of their relationship is - they've made some point at the beginning NOT to put any real names to it or boundaries on it - the whole "Jane doesn't have a plan" thing. So perhaps we are assuming that commitments or understandings have been made when they really haven't - and maybe that's where Lisbon's forgiveness is coming from - maybe she's realizing that she doesn't have a real understanding/commitment from him that would give her the right to insist on him answering her calls. It's common courtesy, of course, to do so - but not something she can actually demand or make a big deal of, if they haven't officially made that level of commitment to each other.

She's always had a sort of weak spot for Jane...which in this episode I definitely did not like for the reasons you mentioned.
