So from my rough understanding of Spanish, the trailer description & what's on screen I gather someone dies and sht goes down.

- investigative journalist dude rodrigo dies
- his friend, lara, takes over for him after finding out what he was investigating
- lara is a cute gay
- meanwhile, alex, a surgeon, has a drug problem - this causes his heart to fail
- alex's wife, blanca, rigs the system so that alex can get a new heart for immediate surgery
- alex gets rodrigo's heart b/c rodrigo was an organ donor
- alex starts seeing flashes of rodrigo's life/investigation (and "feels" rodrigo's feelings for rodrigo's wife, marion)
- through a series of events, this leads him to lara
- lara and alex get tied up in trying to solve the mystery rodrigo was investigating

that's a very vague outline for the 1st episode/plot set-up.

I wish I could play that trailer. I can't even properly load the BBCA OB one from yesterday.

My sister lent me her Grace and Frankie boxset which I've started and aside from the bi erasure I'm really enjoying it. I had my reservations that Martin Sheen could play a convincing lgbt character but he's actually pretty good and Robert and Sol are really sweet I have to admit it. Also Lily Tomlin.

I enjoy Grace and Frankie when I watch it, but I never really feel like I need to watch it until I've already pushed play. The bi erasure sucks, but it really is enjoyable! I've still got to finish season two.

Sounds exactly like my sort of show I tried looking it up online with english subs but had no joy, so it needs to hurry up & get on whatever crappy on demand service channel 4 are making me deal with

hahaha, yeah, i need the english subs now! i missed some of the details with the actual case/motivation (though i generally know what happened), and i wanna watch it. plus, the lesbian survives! the bar cannot be lower.

It can be a little hit or miss. I mostly like that the roles being played aren't typically elderly people tv roles. They swear, they talk about sex, drugs, they misbehave, and it's down right slap sticky at times and usually with shows where older characters are the leads everything is more gentile, trite, conservative and everyone walks around like they've just stepped out of the pages of people's friend. So I'm mostly enjoying the show for showing older folks as just like anyone else. It's refreshing and dealing with LGBT issues is just an interesting bonus.

^ the article has a lot of fluff, but it confirms carlota/sara is happening. carlota's bisexual, we know, but not sure if sara is a lesbian or what. and of course, how does the show describe them? "suffragists" of course, bambu out here copying all the **** that's worked before.
